You all know that we'll have the FA Cup final today, with Chelsea and Liverpool battling it out at Wembley. I had several ideas for bets this weekend but since this is by far the biggest event I decided to go for it.

Chelsea are the favourites, especially after knocking out Barcelona in the Champions League. And they appear to be the better team. But, on the other hand, the game seems much more important for Liverpool, who don't have much left to play for this season.

So, between Chelsea's might and Liverpool's determination, I think that the regular 90 minutes will not be deciding the winner.

Well, I went pretty close again... Chelsea took a 2-0 lead, then Liverpool pulled one back and nearly scored the equaliser 8 minutes from time. Andy Carroll's header appeared to go across the line but the referee didn't see things that way so Chelsea won it and I lost my bet...

This is the last time I bet on boxing... My lad got beaten like an amateur, and it's rather difficult to explain why without speculating. He dominated the first round, everything looked normal. Then he started taking punches in the second round. Then, in the third and fourth, he acted like a sparring partner, he just stood there and took punches. And he did the same in the fifth round, and he got knocked out...

Dodgy indeed, I still don't know what to believe. But I'm quite sure that I won't bet on boxing again, it seems that there are some variables in there that I can not be aware of.

Following last week's loss on boxing I decided to go for more likeable sports this week. The bet is on four events, half soccer and half tennis.

As you can notice I doubled my usual stakes but I guess it's worth the risk since I'm quite sure that Holland will beat Denmark and that Germany won't lose to Portugal.

Denmark held out for a huge win against Holland and I lost my bet. Hats off to the Danes though, they fought admirably.
