Back Playtech Signs Agreement with Swiss Operator Casinò Lugano SA

One of the leading gambling corporations, Playtech, is proud to announce one more strategic cooperation. This time, the developer has teamed up with Swiss operator Casinò Lugano SA to launch its products on Lugano’s online page Swiss4Win.ch.

What makes this multi-year alignment is that Casinò Lugano becomes the first platform in the combined Italian-Swiss region to go digital with Playtech’s products. The offering includes casino and live casino content, along with an information management solution (IMS).

Deepening Swiss Footprint

It’s interesting to note that this is not the first opportunity for the solutions provider to offer its services and products to Swiss clientele.

In September 2019…

…the company penned the strategic agreement with Swiss Casino Group. That made the operator the first one in the market to introduce both live and jackpot casino offerings.

Regarding the partnership with Lugano, Shimon Akad, Chief Operating Officer at Playtech, said as follows:

“Live Casino is a key product vertical for Playtech, and we look forward to working with Casinò Lugano to deliver our data-driven, omnichannel IMS platform which can help drive the growth of the country’s emerging online market.”

Fast Expansion of Swiss Online Market

Gianmaria Frapolli, CEO and Board Member at Casinò Lugano SA is positive that the studio’s expertise and vast knowledge will make their venture into the regulated online industry much smoother. This corporation has the reputation of the most popular and oldest casino in the Italian-Swiss region.

Speaking of digital expansion…

… last year in April, The Swiss Federal Council (Bundesrat) granted two corporations the licenses to add online casino gambling to their product mix. One of them was Casino Lugano, the other was Casino du Lac Meyrin in Geneva.

Switzerland https://jswqzs.com/news/switzerland-introduces-new-online-gambling-law is putting plenty of effort to keep its scene safe. One of the biggest actions was blacklisting unlicensed domains. As stressed out, the providers that obtain the certificate to operate in the country will have to follow a stringent set of rules, otherwise, they risk earning blacklisted status.

In addition to this…

… it strives to equip operators with the finest products to provide a better players' experience. In October 2020, Wazdan received ISO 27001 information security certification, which enabled the studio to offer its releases to local clientele.

Busy March for Playtech

Throughout March this year, the solutions provider announced multiple milestone agreements, securing firm presence all over the world.

One of the most recent deals…

...enabled them to reach a US audience by providing one of the largest live entertainment studios in Michigan. Situated in Southfield, this innovative studio is approved by the local regulator.

Also, Playtech announced a collaboration with well-established international Betsson Group to offer its products across the Group’s numerous brands. The network includes their flagship brands Betsson, Betsafe, NordicBet, and EuropeBet.

Furthermore…

… the producer shared the information about a new five-year contract extension with Flutter Entertainment for its Paddy Power, Betfair, and Sky Casino brands. Thanks to such long-term partnerships with industry’s giants, Playtech also gives valuable contribution to developing the industry’s first code of conduct on safer game design.
