Three card poker is a popular game that has made its way onto the internet with thanks to Rival Gaming. In this game you can opt to play against yourself or the dealer, whereas most other poker games pit you against the dealer or other players.
How to Play Three Card Poker
Your first task is to decide whether to play pair plus or ante. You must select from the bets at the bottom of the screen by clicking on them to do this.
The pair plus game is simpler and will deal you three cards face up. These 3 cards are used to determine whether or not you win a prize. Winning hands range from a pair (returns 1:1) to a straight flush (pays 40:1).
The ante bet plays against the dealer. You'll be dealt 3 cards and the dealer receives 3 cards face down. At this point you must decide whether to raise your stake or fold your cards. If you decide to raise the dealers cards will be turned over and both hands are compared. If your hand beats the dealer a prize will be paid.
The benefit of playing the ante bet is that you can choose to bet more on a strong hand. The pairs plus option offers a much quicker game though, so we like that option too. Thankfully you can choose to play both the ante and pairs plus games at the same time if you want.
