Ultimate Texas Hold’ em is a video poker machine where you play against the dealer. Texas Hold ‘em is one of the more popular poker variants because it involves community cards and several rounds of wagers to see the end result. This brings skill, anticipation and a little luck into proceedings; plus there’s the chance to bet on trips and more.
How to play Ultimate Texas Hold’ em
Before you can play an ante and blind must be set. These are your two initial bets that are chosen from the chipstack in the bottom corner. At this time you can also place a ‘trips’ bet, which is a side bet that pays if three matching cards are drawn.
Once bets are set you’ll receive 2 cards, then you can decide whether to raise or check. You’ll then see 3 community cards and will get the same question; raise or check. You’ll finally see all 5 community cards and your strongest hand is created from this. At this stage you must decide whether to play, for a cost of a bet equal to your ante, or fold your hand.
After the game concludes you'll be given the chance to repeat your bets or use a new bet. This is a fairly standard function that helps keep games moving at a fast pace.
