Though it identifies as a Video Poker game at its core, it’s not quite what you might be used to. In fact, you won’t be competing against a dealer or any other players.
How To Play Red Dog:
Before you actually begin the game, you must first select your bet. In order to do so, click the desired chip denomination which is located at the bottom of the gaming screen. Once you have chosen the chip you wish to bet with, you may then click the corresponding betting field.
If you wish to increase your bet at any point before beginning the game, you can click on the chip you have placed in the betting field to increase the amount. In addition, if you wish to remove your bet, you can simply click on the ‘X,’ followed by the space marked on the betting field in order to remove it.
Red Dog Features Explained:
The game is played with a standard 52-card deck. After each round, cards will be re-shuffled. The card values are a little different in this game. You will not be working with the standard values. The value of any card from 2 to 10 counts at face value, a jack counts as 11, a queen as 12, a king as 13, and an ace counts as 14.
In addition to the fact that a player does not compete against the dealer or any other players, the game also involves no winning hand combinations. This means that, in order to win, you need to get a card with a value in between the values of the first two cards drawn.
