Introduced by Stephen Au-Yeung in 2001, Casino Hold’em is a game that is climbing the echelons of popularity by using derivatives from the Texas Hold’em Poker game. The mainstay of this modified version of Texas Hold’em is that the players collectively play against the bank as opposed to wagering amongst themselves. Casino Hold’em is promoted by the Gaming Supplies Company and is licensed in the United Kingdom.
More than a hundred casinos all over the world offer this unusual poker variant that is exciting and immensely rewarding.
The rules of the game are simple-players begin by placing an ante wager and subsequently two cards are dealt face down to the dealer and each player. The dealer will deal an additional three common cards in the middle of the play table. Players have the option of picking either a fold or call option and if he calls, the call must be twice the ante wager.
The community cards will also be dealt and the dealer will turn his own cards. If the player’s hand is more in value than the dealer’s, the player wins according to the Ante-Win pay table. For an enhanced edge, players should consider the fold option only in exceptional hands. This choice can be made when the user has two single cards that are lower than the flop.
