The Border Inn Casino

The Border Inn Casino is a property located in rural Baker, Nevada that decided to take everything anyone could possibly need and put it all into one place. That is most fortunate, really, because the area surrounding Baker, NV consists of nothing and a whole lot of it. With respect to the casino, it is also home to a restaurant, gas station, RV Park and truck stop that all operate under the same name. There's even a service station, so if you need car work done, this is the place to go...and not just because you have no other choice! Additional services on the property include pool tables and a dart board, a lounge with full alcohol, a convenience store, an ATM, shower rooms, laundry services and an arcade. In other words, small though it may be, there's something for everyone on this stop along State Routes 477 & 478. As one might expect, the town is rather charming and the denizens...all 68 of them...are quite laid back. The highways that run through the town also have a lot of travelers, so expect to run into people from all over the place at this casino, the locals certainly aren't using all of the rooms.

Gaming

The Border Inn Casino consists of about twenty-five slot machines, video poker games and video keno games, including bartop video poker. As one might expect, you may not find the newest generation of slot machines here, but they keep things relatively current, and their penny machines remain perpetually only a few years behind those of larger casinos.

Hotel/Accommodations

The Border Inn Casino is home to an RV Park as well as twenty-nine of the simplest (but clean) rooms that you will find. The rooms are adorned with paneled walls and most, if not all, have not upgraded to HDTV's at this time. Fortunately, there are a few handicap-accessible rooms available and about half of the room count is pet-friendly.

Dining

The Border Inn Casino operates a restaurant that serves mostly American food and mainly has a diner type theme. The restaurant is open from 6:00a-10:00p and even if it doesn't have the best food in the world, it has the best food that you're going to find anytime soon. Fortunately, any menu limitations are compensated for by the friendly and charming service.

Entertainment/Nightlife

There's obviously not going to be much in the way of a nightlife at a location, or town, of this nature, so don't expect to find any live bands or anything like that.
