Back Giant Slot Machine Approved in Nevada Casinos

Leading gaming supplier AGS is known for providing a variety of games to land based casinos and it recently announced that it received the go ahead to introduce its Colossal Diamonds® Slot Machine in Nevada.

This makes news simply because of the sheer size of the cabinet. It represents the word ‘colossal’ in every way. The Slot has even been nicknamed ‘Big Red’ because it’s exactly that, a big red Slot Machine. Imagine three standard sized game cabinets put together, that’s the presence that Colossal Diamonds has on the casino floor.

The game has been available in 17 states but never in Nevada, until now. Big Red underwent a trial period in Vegas at the Paris and Caesars Palace casinos.

Andrew Burke, Vice President of Slot Products for AGS, said, "Colossal Diamonds has experienced monumental growth over the past 12 months, more than tripling its install base due to consistently stellar performance in nearly every property it has been placed. The opportunity to launch 'Big Red' in such an important gaming market like Nevada is huge and we are very confident about its prospects and its performance in the state."

AGS has placed a total of 250 Big Red machines at various casinos across 17 states including Mohegan Sun in CT, Winstar in OK, Pechanga in CA and Hard Rock Tampa in FL.

The nontraditional game offers a quite traditional theme on steroids with 3 reels and 1 payline. The company is looking into introducing this game into more states but it has already signed 40 or so contracts in Nevada with placements at The Venetian, Planet Hollywood, Bally's, South Point, Green Valley Ranch and many more.
