How often have you started a game, be it a tournament or a sitngo, only to realise that you need to visit the bathroom or you fancy a drink....Playing poker all day....good for your health?

Ok blue, come clean, where are the hidden cameras in my house? I can tell you have been watching me! LOL
You describe it all so perfectly. I have thought, "why didn't I do that before trapping myself in a game by pushing that register button... great blog blue!

I played a 9 seater non turbo holdem sitngo with a low buyin of 60c yesterday and right from the beginning, it was obvious who the fish was....the best of the worst

I love the advice and the picture you paint with the 9-seater game! I have played with that guy many times! LOL
Have a question on your Nutshell news though. You wrote: Ten potential candidates have been announced by the WSOP Governing Council to induct the nominees into the Poker Hall of Fame. The finalists include Chris Bjorin, David Chiu, Eric Drache, Thor Hansen, George Hardie, Jennifer Harman-Traniello, John Juanda, Tom McEvoy, Scotty Nguyen and Brian Roberts. Harman-Traniello, McEvoy, Nguyen and Juanda.
Not sure what you meant by putting in those 4 last names? Are they your picks for who should be nominated?

What is it about Poker Curry and Donkeys?
Curry, poker and donkeys certainly do not go together! And boy did you have to learn that the hard way! You poor girl.

I did not see this message, went to try and deposit on Carbon and credit cards are no longer an option for me it seems. So I thought I would check to see if FeltStars could do it for me. Looks like they got hit by the "Poof, be gone" spray.
I am confused tho blue....(not a real difficult task)
You said that FeltStars were trying to run they're own cashier outside of the Merge Network. Yet, you recommended that we try to find a skin that also has it's own cashier as well???

The only reason I recommended that was so that you [everyone in general] don't find yourself in the same position i.e. poker site gone. There has to be a good reason that Feltstars wanted to move their cashier from the Merge Network but unfortunately, I don't know the reason for that. I did read somewhere that it might be something to with the "Costa Rica" connection with Merge but I don't know if that is correct for sure.

Blue this is what I found as far as FS closing.
FS statement "with the current USA climate.depositing and withdrawal limitation we felt we could no longer offer the level of service that our customers deserve"
"under the limitations that Merge has put on skins using the Merge cashier, the resignation of key corporate executives at merge and the sudden covert move of headquarters to Costa Rico, there is no reason to think that a skin NOT doing it's own processing will be able to compete successfully with the Merge owned skins"

This just in..... Remember a few comments ago (scroll up a bit) when I said that I could not deposit on Carbon poker with a credit card? Well, I have been randomly checking to see if the option re-appeared.
There was a notice that read....
CarbonPoker is not currently offering Visa as a deposit option. To deposit by credit card - and have access to Poker, Sports, Casino and more - please create a new account at CarbonSports.ag.
Use the bonus code 600PK for a 100% Initial Deposit Bonus up to $600 - even if you've already claimed an initial bonus at CarbonPoker.
Download the poker client from CarbonSports.ag:
I don't know what this is about and I personally don't trust it. After checking my email and finding no messages from them stating the same thing. I really don't know what to think about it.

You have quite accurately described my situation for the past 5 days. Can not win with even pocket kings. I am gun shy at the moment. Staying away from the tables for a bit to see if this too shall pass. :O
The nutshell news sounded like a mass game of Ring and Around the Rosies. Some good news about the gambling licenses in Nevada. It is big progress!

Very good thoughts on the WSOP blue... and I don't even need a passport! But, would be best if you won and got to come to Las Vegas! So, get out there and play your bloomers off!

Oooh play my bloomers off - that's a good one; I like that.

Some very interesting news today blue.
This one was notable:
"The Caribbean island of Antigua and Barbuda have expressed opposition to the federal online poker legalization bill proposed by Senators Harry Reid and Jon Kyl. Their reasoning for this opposition is that offshore gambling operators may suffer including Antigua."
I don't think that their opposition will carry a great deal of weight in the long run. And I think they are right about it causing them to suffer, as I think it should. Isn't this what we have been talking about all along? That the offshore gaming outfits would feel it when/if the US legalizes online gambling. They treat us like red-headed step-children but they take our money and leave us with no recourse when things go awry.
Enough of that rant. I really want to check out Phil Ivey's new website. Sounds interesting! Thanks for the news blue!
