You are right. If you don't have a passport you can submit your ID or driving license. Verification documents do not differ much from casino to casino. However, in some cases, they might ask for more docs. Please PM me your casino username, we're going to contact them and ask for the explanation.

And a picture of any document that has been sent by post to you with your address and name on it. This can be for example a government document or any bill/invoice etc that has been posted to you. Even if you don't need a passport for border checks within most EU countries. This simply has nothing to do with your account verification and does not mean that we can skip to check identity of our customers. When winnings exceed €2000 we are obligated to do a thorough  And also according to the EU every country have the possibility of adopting national rules obliging you to hold or carry papers and documents when you are present on their territory. So you might also need to provide a passport within the EU. Also states that Driving licences, post, bank or tax cards are not accepted as valid travel documents or proof of identity. Please continue to verify your account when you have acquired a passport. The same routine follows with the older generation of Russian passports that are handwritten without expiration date.

You are the only Casino in the world that requires a passport to verify, I sent an ID card which is a more important document than a Passport.

Staybet Casino have a license in Curacao, this license is less valuable than the paper on which it is written,
You want to tell me that the license obliges your casino to validate my account by Passport ,? This is how you make jokes, this way of verification is an ingenious Verification Team employee, is stupid and absurd, because no any other casino does not require it.

I can assure you that we are not the only Casino that requires a passport to verify the account for withdrawal. It does certainly not matter which license you operate under when it comes to thorough KYC verification. But as a Casino, we need to be absolutely correct when approving accounts or there is a great deal of fraud risk which I hope you understand can not let happen.

Also, our verification team thinks its a bit odd that a person who has a withdrawal of over €2000 will not spend €50 to acquire a passport in order to receive the winnings. There should not be a problem doing this at all if all information on the account holder is correct. 

After we receive your passport image we are more than happy to process your withdrawal. 

Staybet problem is not making a new passport document, the problem is the absurd and idiotic approach of your amateur casino.

We see your point. However, if the passport is required to withdraw your winnings you better get one and withdraw your money. The amount is not small. Please keep us posted. 

Providing passport is standard KYC procedure and great majority of casinos has this procedure. You are the one being unreasonable here.
