woo hoo I made playthrough, was down to around $5, and hit some good ones, got up to $40 and then... I played I think 3 of those daily $5 this week, then Cleo's locked me out.  They said it's because I've only used free bonuses & never deposited.

It was nice of Cleo's to remember us this Labor Day.  I didn't last long with my $20 bonus, but finally today got notice they are processing my $200 cashout from the free $5 chip from last month!  Yeah!

Well all I have played at Cleos for several months and this is a very very tight site. The casino really does not pay and the excuse they give is that it is because players are there not  to win  but to play for fun and get V.S. credits to get free trinkets at the V.S. store.

Very tight? Not for me. I've hit over 200 free spins on the game "El Patron" at least three times, over 100 free spins a couple other times on that same game, and over 100 free spins on Mermaids Lucky Chest several times. I've also hit the "major" jackpot on "Bushveld" and "Lucky 5" several times for somewhere between $15 and $75. I have yet to hit the "Super Prize" for $1,000's on those games but the chances of winning that are slim. However, anything is possible. Maybe one day I will. I think I could have cashed out at least couple hundred dollars almost every time I have deposited at Cleo's. I never seem to have a problem hitting payouts and never seem to have a problem meeting their wagering requirements. But, since I like to play I usually don't cash out unless I have over $500 in my account.

IMO, the "free trinkets" you get with the VS credits are basically taking the place of the "comp points" you would get at other online casinos. Also, if you look at their facebook site you will see all kinds of people talking about how they have won/received $1,000's from Cleo's. You will also see some complaints but those are mainly from people upset they don't win, or  people upset they don't get more free chips or match bonuses. Yet they have given away more chips than any other online casino I have tried, and always have at least a 200% bonus on deposits. If anyone thinks they are going to keep getting free chips at Cleo's without ever depositing, then they must not know how casino's work.

If you play at a casino be it online or on land or sea and you expect to win, your probably going to lose. These are games of chance and the chances are the casino is going to win. That's how casino's make their money.  I play for fun and long play times and only "kind of" hope to win. I've noticed if I go to a casino and "expect" to win, I always lose. Yet if I play for fun and play smart, I almost always end up winning, or at least getting long play times out of a small deposit.
