Ok, here is the dealy-o w/ the cd. If you got the CD in the mail for Lucky creek or any of this groups casinos with a bonus. You can only get the bonus if you:
1. uninstall the existing "Lucky Creek" program
2. reboot
3. re-install from the mailed Cd you recieved w/ the promo code
4.Claim your bonus code it will work now
Thanks to Ray who kindly explained this for me. There is a registry key that is unique to the code and the version of software you get on the CD. great to know info for future mailings. Turn that dud code into a million bucks!
