I decided to start this thread since there seems to be more interest in Cleos lately. Feel free to post your experiences and questions here. Cleos VIP Room is a "sweepstakes promotion" and not technically a casino, so since there is no review on LCB I thought this might help the players . I am currently waiting for my 5th check from them and I have to say I have had more luck withdrawing there than any other land or online casino. I make small deposits and use the bonuses and have not yet been "bonus banned" . I am not a representative of Cleos, just a player like everyone else, so I just want to help and answer any questions based on my own experiences there. There aren't many gaming sites like Cleos where you can play and get free stuff too!

Hmm.. if you have Windows it should work. Sometimes I can't log in when they are doing updates which can take awhile, but right now it starts up no problem. Are you both able to download it, just not log in? If so, go to cleosviproom.com and click on Live Chat. The help there is so-so, but it's worth a try. Also, if you email [email protected] they are usually quick to answer and a bit more informative. I found this in their terms and conditions: "Void in Guam, Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin islands, Florida, New York and other U.S. Territories and possessions and where prohibited by law." so I hope that doesn't apply to you gals...

For those having trouble getting the software to run this may work...
Right-click on the icon for Cleos on your desktop and click "Troubleshoot Compatibility". Go through the steps in the wizard or change the compatibility option to Windows XP. Try opening the software again.
This fix helped for my computer running Windows 7. -

I love CLEOS! I gotta tell the truth though... I'M HOOKED! I love their games and have bought so much SPREE CREDITS, and have not gotten anything back in return.. yet! I'm hoping my luck will change soon and I can hit one of their jackpots and at least win "some" money back. I do have beautiful jewelry, my hubby ordered me. We have not been able to cash out because we have no patience since they take so long to process the requests, and of course we cant deposit again til the request goes through. But all in all... Nope, hence how I think there getting around the US laws and being able to process and payout within the US. Calling themselves a sweepstakes drawing versus an actual online casino.
The only question that I pose, is how random is the actual software. Is it RNG based or lottery based like they seem to want it. -

Watch out Support isn't going to budge on the fact, if you have there server errors. That you have to have Windows 8 to use there games. I have played just fine on Windows 7 for the past few days. Today there telling me no it doesn't work that way.
So I have gone as far as asking for a refund of my 2 deposits this week, they have informed me I can cashout the two deposits as soon as I can get the software to reinstall. How maddening lol -

So apparently now the new answer is, well we can't perform a cashout for you until you complete playthru. Well my current information to them, is how can I even bother to complete playthru when 90% of your games keep telling me the server has disconnected me.
So I have asked once again if I can play with Windows 7, or are they going to ask me to go download a pirated version of Windows 8 again. There answer is well Windows 8 is free, I'm like really? In the real world outside of piracy you have to pay for Windows 8.
So then I ask, what is wrong with your server. Once again nothing, it's your computer.
So now I have e-mailed demanding a refund, I'm not going to "cash out" as requested, because there software will not simply let me do so until I complete playthru. Which is awfully hard to do when the software supposedly doesn't work on my machine.
For being a place that is US only, has offices apparently in Delaware, Miami, Costa Rica, Cyprus, and even in the UK. I for sure can't seem to get a solid answer as to whom I talk to start the ball rolling on a refund, because I'm not going put up with it. Other than you can simply cash out.
Yeah I for sure am not going to advocate Cleos VIP Room to anyone. Honestly the faster they run out of the money, and close up shop the better.Rated:2/ 5

Well and that's my point to them, I played on Monday night for a bit. Then magically in the course of 48 hours, I'm no longer compatible and shouldn't have been able to play from the get go. I even before I started wailing on them, tried the running it in XP trick as suggested. Try doing there suggestions, disabling the firewall, disabling my routers firewall, disabling my anti-virus. Rebooting my computer 20 times (almost literally). Removing the software, and everything that was sent to me via an e-mail. Re-installing which took an act of god to complete. Mainly it stalled at 27% three times, before I got the software to take.
To eventually figure out no matter what I did, according to support live or e-mail. I was "required" to have Windows 8. Which I could get off the net for free, just by googling it. I'm like sure I could get it off of the net for free, loose my warranty on my computer, loose any software updates from Microsoft, and possibly get sued. Just for what? So I could play at an online casino that doesn't seem to want to post said information right on there homepage.
Not a very well put together operation. I really hope you and Chillymellow hit it big and send them broke. Yet I just can't stand an operation that doesn't want to see if it's a server issue, or even see if a connection somewhere along the line is broken. What lazy support.

No it was great, once the refunds were processed, they hit my bank on Monday morning. So now I'm happy, plus even got an apologize shortly after the refunds were processed from the chat rep. I would say some shaking up happened in the live chat dept once I demanded a refund. I can't imagine they were too happy issuing any form of a refund.
The nice part is once the apologies were issued, they did give me one more chance to keep in a "good" status and continue playing. I opted for the latter, and decided to take what doesn't come very often.

^^^ I dont see your point. This is not a casino. If you are looking for a casino. Then try RTG or MG. CVR has a great win win product. Buy gifts and/or have a chance with their slots. I respect the fact they offer quality slots. Also daily drawing and a chance to redeem the money you spend there for gifts. I have donated tons to RTG and after losing, all I had to show was barely enough comps for $2. At cleos I can take those lost dollars and get great gifts. Im waiting on Cleos to roll out more table games. And I will be buying gift from them

Sooo, I'm still playing at Cleos, but haven't managed a withdrawal in awhile. The few times I got my balance up to a cashable amount, I lost it trying to make playthrough. However, because I accumulated so many spree credits I was able to buy one of those new handbags they are advertising. I haven't received it yet but I really need a new purse so I am glad I at least have something to show for it! (like chocolateman said)

I don't know what changed. I'm running win 7 on my MacBook. It wouldn't work at first so I gave up. I tried again and it worked. Now I'm starting to have problems with the software though. -

Here's some hints for improving your software performance for Cleo's. don't know if it will help, but worth a try:
go into your program files and uninstall anything Kingsbury or Cleo related.
(I recommend using the Revo or another uninstaller to get all the little pieces off your computer)
Turn off your antivirus program - don't forget to turn it back on later!
Then go to their main site and install the new software.
If you still have some problems, (right) click on Cleo's icon and click on properties and choose for it to run as Windows XP.
(that probably won't work well with your macbook!)

I know some of you have cashed out here. I have a withdrawal pending from a free chip. Live support said no problem cashing out. My question is did you have to feel out a W9 tax form for the withdrawal to complete? Thanks!
its just a technicality to abide by USA sweepstakes laws, it doesnt affect anything, just is legal paperwork so its not considered "gambling", thats my opinion on it.. -

OK here is my problem with thei software, when I try to open it after it updates it says "a problem has occured and mainlobby.exe will close" I have tried seriously everything. I redownloaded it from a link support gave me then it just kept try to install over and over and over until I reboot computer then uninstalled it. This is the only program on my computer I can't run and I dont even get an explanation just an error has occured, any suggestions??

Wow Chilly, that guy Jon sure was lucky! Have you heard from him again? Would like to know if he received his check yet. I don't have anymore advice on getting the software to work besides what everyone else has already suggested, sorry .
I received the handbag, it seems to be good quality, has pockets inside which is nice, but it is A LOT bigger than it looked in the pic, lol. I guess that's just the style these days.
I just made another withdrawal after 2 months of losses so I'm excited about that . They are sending it FedEx this time and gave me the tracking number the day after it was approved. It should be here within 10 business days of when I requested the withdrawal. Good luck everyone! -
