When you say no Kyc required during your experience, is that because you deposited immediately upon sign up? You claimed any NDB prior to making your deposit?

No NDB was claimed, just a straight deposit. No verification was required; he simply submitted a withdrawal request, and it was processed. While they do have KYC terms stating that verification is required, it wasn't in this case.
