William Hill Expands in Nevada

William Hill continues its expansion in the Nevada market. The latest report shows that the operator will strengthen its forces particularly in the divisions of race and sportsbook upon taking the reins for Golden Entertainment projects outside Las Vegas…

…The recent announcement coming from CDC Gaming Reports details that Hill has now taken over several operations including Aquarius Casino Resort, Charlieˈs Boulder and Charlieˈs Decatur, located in Laughlin, Las Vegas, and Arizona. They also plan to include one more sportsbook event stemming from The STRAT, scheduled for a March launch.

Extending the Original Agreement

Hill’s original partnership with Golden Entertainment has led it to oversee Pahrump Nuggetˈs sportsbook, as well as to provide service kiosks to Lakeside and Gold Town casinos.

The leading gambling provider has already introduced kiosks at 80 different locations all over the state. The other two enterprises which will continue using Hill’s products are Edgewater and Colorado Belle.

Joe Asher, CEO at William Hill, had the following comment:

Chief operating officer at Golden Entertainment, Steve Arcana added:

“We are excited to continue expanding our relationship with William Hill, which has a proven sports wagering platform not only in Nevada but around the world. We look forward to growing our business in Nevada and other jurisdictions through the partnership.”

Results

The acquisition project by William Hill is one more step in acquiring sportsbook gambling market. The upcoming challenges for Golden and William Hill operators are two American states: Montana and Maryland. These regions have not legalized gambling activity, which turns to be further incentive for both operators. However, Golden already provides distributed betting in Montana across 300 locations. Furthermore, the company has ownership of Marylandˈs Rocky Gap Casino Resort.

Hill mirrors a similar strategy. The provider already made some agreements throughout the US territory, commencing partnerships with two casinos (Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Eduardo Resorts), aiming to include an Iowa location.
