I used to live only 3 miles from this great casino. I could always have hours of fun with $50! My first visit to this casino was awesome! A friend and myself were exploring the casino floor. While passing thru the high stakes area we noticed A $5 machine with two credits. After A short wait to determine the credits were abandoned we decided to play them with two pulls (1 credit at A time). First pull hit three triple bars for $575. We never pulled it A second time and split $580. My first ever NO DEPOSIT BONUS ! Another plus in my view is that most profits became POLK County revenue which was the same county I lived in. So instead of making some rich people richer POLK county could waste it. lol

This place is an ok casino, for being city owned. They do have some of the loosest slots that I have ever experienced. I seem to hit frequently on the $1 double triple stars machine. My best hit on that slot was $1,200 for a $2 bet, on my last $2 to boot. The casino is a 3 level location. The lower level is the buffet, the middle level is the casino, and the 3rd level is the poker room and sports book. The sports book is a nice way to relax while watching the horses on a Saturday afternoon. Plus it would seem as if at times my money lasts way better playing horse tracks than sometimes on the blackjack table or slots. I haven't played in the poker room yet, but they have offered Texas Hold em and Omaha, which are 2 games I wouldn't mind trying some time. As to going back to their slots, I really do enjoy their selection of generic games put out by the manufacturer, along with the nice selection of premium games available. The one I really loved playing, but isn't there any longer is the Wheel of Fortune Super Spin game with the huge wheel in the center. I just love community based bonuses when their available. The only word of warning about this place, don't get too boozed up. Security is the Polk County Sheriff, and if you have more than 2 drinks in an hour. I have found out there not afraid of arresting people right in the casino for public intox. So be careful. Otherwise I enjoy this place, as long as your not drinking.
