Foxwoods Resort Casino, located in Mashantucket, Connecticut, is rolling out GameCo’s skill-based video gaming machines (VGMs), following a recent collaboration with the brand. This serves as the second U.S. distribution of the machines for GameCo, with the first set having been launched in select New Jersey casinos last year. The latest deal enables Foxwoods Resort Casino to install a total of six VGMs across its gaming room.
President and CEO of the land based casino, Felix Rappaport, commented, “Skill-based slot machine technology is the next generation of gaming, and we welcome this addition to our already industry-leading resort casino experience.”
"This partnership with GameCo is just another example of our commitment to provide our loyal guests new and exciting reasons to visit Foxwoods," continued Rappaport.
Blaine Graboyes, co-founder and CEO of GameCo, added, "We are very pleased to be expanding the world's first skill-based gaming offerings to the Connecticut market with Foxwoods Resort Casino as they have embraced the opportunity to bring a new type of gaming entertainment to their guests.
Graboyes further commented, “As casino gaming continues to evolve and appeal to a new generation of players, we are focused on strategically aligning with casino partners such as Foxwoods who share our vision of combining the entertainment, engagement, and excitement of video games, eSports, and gambling to create a new type of destination for current and future casino customers.”
The brand is known for having brought the very first VGMs to casino floors, providing patented game design, and allowing players to anticipate equal returns to those of traditional slot machines.
