Back Playtech’s Neon Platform Headed to Grosvenor Casinos

Playtech will be moving forward for longer than anticipated with Rank Group. The gambling software development company is extending its content agreement with the brand. The act enables Playtech to move forward with amalgamating land games across Grosvenor Casino locations across the UK.

The UK casino sites will see improved changes across its 3,000 electronic machines, with Playtech’s popular Neon Slots added to the mix! The integration will affect more than just the slots, with Neon Tables also implemented across iPad stations at a total of 650 tables. Also part of the agreement, Rank Group will have 54 of its casinos receiving the Neon platform before the year’s end.

Playtech Retail Managing Director, Martin Sykes, commented on the recent expansion, adding, “We developed new features, optimized Neon for deployment in the Cloud, provided numerous integrations and supported the transition from the legacy systems, keeping data in step as we implemented the 54 sites.”

Head of Finance for Grosvenor, Richard Playle, stated, “We worked as a team to address a wide range of technical challenges and business innovations and have successfully rolled out a system which is performing well across the estate, and meeting our business and technical goals.”

Playle continued, "Migrating our gaming systems to Playtech will enable us to complete our modernization, offer an improved player experience and complete our vision for a single account and wallet across our retail and digital businesses."
