Microgaming's Progressive Jackpot Network Marks 7 Millionaires

A privately-held iGaming software company based in the Isle of Man, Microgaming, has officially revealed the total progressive jackpot payout since January 1st – August 1st, 2020, totalling exactly €115,418,328.

The latest big hit occurred on 20 July 2020, when a certain player managed to cash in a whopping €1,650,382.89 on Major Millions at Spin Casino and become the seventh millionaire on the network so far this year.

If perceived from a different angle, this occurrence equates to one millionaire a month on average! The UK-based player, who remains anonymous for the time being, struck a life-changing sum only a month after registering with the operator, ultimately pocketing €1.6 million from a €3 wager.

As with all payouts on Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network, the winner will receive the entire prize as a lump sum and not in monthly installments.

Third Seven-Figure Jackpot on Major Millions

According to the software studio, the latest win on Major Millions marks the third seven-figure jackpot generated on the game this year alone, following a €1,650,910.31 prize on 14 March and a €1,203,349.99 jackpot on 12 June. Other memorable payouts this year include four multi-million euro jackpot wins on Microgaming’s iconic Mega Moolah slot.

There is also a trio of wins in May across Atlantean Treasures™: Mega Moolah and Absolootly Mad™: Mega Moolah. Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network keeps growing in 2020 thanks to the increase of new progressive titles and a wealth of life-changing wins. More than 550+ players have pocketed €10,000 or more in the previous period on the studio’s fresh releases.
