Back Jungle Jim (and the Lost Sphinx) is Back! Microgaming Rolls Out Sequel to the Popular Slot at iGB Live! In Amsterdam

The iconic casino game developer, Microgaming, will – naturally – be attending this week's iGaming extravaganza in Amsterdam, Netherlands. iGB Live! The event gathers over 650 brands from the world of online gambling to a single place where they will be showcasing their upcoming content.

One such occasion calls for the release of only the best titles. The Isle of Man-based provider has chosen Jungle Jim and the Lost Sphinx to be their game of choice to be presented to the adoring crowds at this particular gathering.

Stormcraft's Brainchild

This particular slot is the sequel to the original Jungle Jim El Dorado game...

...and his second epic quest for lost treasure. It was developed exclusively by Stormcraft Studios. This independent studio that crafts unique games for Microgaming has already premiered several slots: Fortunium, Agent Jane Blonde Returns and Dragon Shard, to name but a few.

Now, it's Jungle Jim's time to shine and take a bow again at the company’s stand at the event.

Egypt via Amazon

The original game was released in 2016 and was lauded by players and critics alike...

...as its central theme took them all to the depths of Amazon jungle in search of the legendary city of gold, El Dorado. For this next installment, Jungle Jim travels across the Atlantic ocean, to Egypt, where it looks to uncover the mysteries of this ancient civilization.

Jungle Jim and the Lost Sphinx is the five reel, 50 payline slot that will be globally released in November.

All About the Artwork and Mechanics

Microgaming's Chief Commercial Officer, Jean-Luc Ferriere, comments on this release:

“Given the success and popularity of Jungle Jim El Dorado, we are really looking forward to teasing the iconic character's next outing, this week at iGBLive! The new game includes outstanding artwork and entertaining mechanics, including the popular Rolling Reels™ feature, and Stormcraft Studios have set a new benchmark in visual storytelling in our industry.”

As it's not every day a popular character makes its grand return, the supplier will be branding its iGB Live! Stand. Visitors can preview and even play a demo of the upcoming game...

...but also treat themselves to a scoop of ice cream of one of ten flavors, which are directly inspired by some of the company's most promising and hottest titles due to be released in 2019!

It will be hosting its catalogue of products at iGB Live! stand R13, RAI Amsterdam, on July 17th and 18th.

Arthur Conan Doyle's Legacy

This will be the second new game premiered by the developer in a short period of time...

...following the release of Sherlock of London, a 3x5 game with 25 paylines which comes with numerous special features and carefully crafted atmosphere akin to London of late XIX, early XX century.

Also, it has announced that their progressive jackpot network has paid out over €89 million from January to June 2019. This was cashed out on a total of 1,150,559 jackpots.
