August was, without any doubt, a milestone month for the online casino industry of the Balkans region. Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, was the host of the very first SiGMA Balkans/ CIS conference, taking place from 22-25, 2022.

This summit was an excellent opportunity for representatives from all verticals to exchange experiences, showcase their products and solutions, and discuss potential business opportunities and alliances. One of the key moments was the SiGMA Awards Night, where a large number of companies were awarded for their immense contribution to making the iGaming industry a better place. Our team received the Best Affiliate of the Year acknowledgment.

During the conference, we had an excellent opportunity to communicate with numerous associates, among which Gringo Partners. Our presenter talked with Davor Kunčič, Business Consultant at Gringo Partners about the company’s brands, popular products, perks, and more.

Led by a group of gaming experts, Gringo Partners is an affiliate group that runs Pokernox and Wolfy Casino, with one more brand to go live in the upcoming period. First-class games from renowned providers, 24/7 support, daily tournaments, and no wagering bonuses are some of the most prominent features this company offers.

Q: Tell us something about your brand and your main responsibilities.

A: We do have a couple of brands at the moment and they're all united under Gringo Partners, as we call it, the group. We have Pokernox and Wolfy Casino which is our main brand at the moment. Currently, we have a new brand, Stupid Casino, in the making, which is going to be released soon, I hope before December. My role in the company- I work as a casino manager. I run all the operations which we need on the daily basis.

Q: The online sector in Southeast Europe is expanding like never before. Do you see many business opportunities in these parts in the future?

A: We operate mostly in Europe as well as a bit in Canada. Europe is our main market and we're constantly looking to expand our partners and the markets which we work with. I think it's going to be a lot of potential already which will have to take advantage of.

Q: What do you expect from SiGMA Balkans?

A: Mostly we're here to catch up with our partners and to meet the new ones which we haven't met before, to expand our operations, to get new affiliates, and to expand our business.

Q: Can you tell us something more about your brand's goals in the future?

A: The first goal is to launch a new brand, which is going to be a huge project. It's going to take a lot of effort at the moment. Also, our team is expanding. We're taking new people in which are going to help with our brands. The main goal is also to make good relationships with all the partners and the players.

Q: What kind of perks and benefits do you offer to your players?

A: The first perk which most players come to the Wolfy Casino are the no wagering bonuses which are really popular these days. They don't require any wagering and players like it. The second one is a really good customer support we have. Mostly I talk with players myself, I know each one of them and I know what they want. We help them out as fast as we can and players really like that personal connection with them. They're not just the number with us, but they're players and we know them all.

Q: What do you think it's your brand's forte? Is there anything you're particularly proud of?

A: I would say the community which we have at the moment and the presence which our brands have. I mean, the feedback is really good from the players and we're really proud of that. We're still working to improve a lot of things at the moment.

Q: Have you noticed any trends among players that you think operators should capitalize on?

A: No wagering bonuses are one of them which I see that are on the rise also with other brands. Crypto is also a trend which is going on at the moment. A lot of good players are using crypto at these moments. The one thing that's really good with crypto is that works all the time. It's fast and it's anonymous.

Q: What is the most popular product of your brand, or brands or products?

A: It's going to be slots definitely. 90 percent of our players play slots. We have like nearly 7,000 of them, so players have really wide selection of slots at the moment.

Q: What is your favorite thing about the job?

A: I don't know, this is the one question which I'm still asking to this day. I just like this industry. I'm not a gambler myself, which makes it really funny, but I like the casino industry. It's something different, it stands out from other industries. Also, the people in it are great, the players are great and I think we have a really good community here overall.
