Greek Players Get Access to One of the Largest iGaming Platforms
The world’s leading game aggregator, SOFTSWISS, has obtained a Manufacturer Suitability License from the Hellenic Gaming Commission, allowing it to legally provide B2B gambling services in the Greek market.
As reported, the A.1 category license will enable the software development company to offer its services to gambling operators in Greece for 7 years. The licensing conditions also state that SOFTSWISS will be in a position to legally provide local online casinos with access to the content from 12 gaming studios.
Greek License is Result of Hard Work
Aside from its powerful drive to constantly upgrade the platform and business model with various aggregation advantages like jackpots, cryptocurrency support and payment commodities, the rebranded SOFTSWISS has also obtained a Greek B2C gaming license for its first partner project in the Greek iGaming market earlier this year.
The legislation’s rules in regard to licensing state, that the company can now operate in Greece, but only players with Greek passports, IDs and bank accounts, as well as permanent residents of the country are legally permitted to access the portfolio.
The official adoption of new regulations by the country government occurred in October 2019. As a result, the Hellenic Gaming Commission opened the application process for new online gaming licenses at the end of 2020.
According to the new rules, there are two explicit types of operating licenses; one for online gambling and one for online betting. In addition, the new rules provide both B2C operating licenses and B2B online gambling solution provider licenses.
“Obtaining a Greek gaming license was the result of SOFTSWISS’ long and hard work, which over the years has accumulated extensive experience and understanding of the iGaming market,” said Andrey Starovoitov, chief operating officer at the company.
The COO is proud of the fact that SOFTSWISS manages to recognize the needs of its clients as it constantly moves towards development and finding new solutions. Among the highest priorities is getting local licenses, which helps the group expand in new regions.
A couple of months after entering the Serbian and Greek market with a B2C gaming license, the company has made the right move by acquiring a new B2B license, allowing it team up with the local operators. Players all around the country will now be able to enjoy numerous advantages on the aggregator’s platform, including interesting projects and partnerships in the upcoming period.
Teaming up with Hölle Games
At the end of this month, SOFTSWISS is adding another key member to its remarkable collection of providers. The company has sealed a partnership with Hölle Games, a German studio that recently published Winter Bells.
As a result of this agreement, the provider’s miniature library will be available to all clients on the network. By the way, there are more than 20 game providers besides Hölle Games in 2021, like NetEnt, Play’n GO, Pragmatic Play and many other highly acclaimed brands.
