Back Update: Nevada Gaming Control Board Nods Twice This Week

Shufflemaster and Paddy Power now approved by the regulator

Two new approvals were given this week by the Nevada Gaming Control Board – one to another Brit company, Paddy Power and the other to US gaming supplier, Shufflemaster.

The two now await for another approval – that of the Nevada Gaming Commission. In case of Paddy Power, its case will be considered on July 26, while Shufflemaster, which applied as a manufacturer and provider of interactive gaming systems in Nevada will be the third, after IGT and Bally Technologies, to receive an interactive gaming licence in the state, if it satisfies the Commission’s criteria.

The latter also announced its future interactive plans, such as the provision of free-to-play internet and mobile versions of its more popular games for its land casino customers.
