Justifying its reputation of gambling Mecca
November 2010 has continued the growing tendency in land gambling on the offshore island of Macau, it was reported by Macau's Gaming and Inspection Coordination Bureau.
The land casino revenues amounted to 17.354 billion Patacas ($2.2 billion), which represents an increase of 42 percent in comparison with the same period in 2009. Reuters reported that with such results, November 2010 has become the second strongest month after October 2010.
Having in mind big gambling revenues in the enclave, it can be concluded that there the world’s largest gambling market has been experiencing a sustained growth.
