  I decide to open a topic for  tennis  WTA  Tour.  The 2015 WTA Tour is the elite professional tennis circuit organised by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) for the 2015 tennis season. The 2015 WTA Tour calendar: the Grand Slam tournaments (supervised by the International Tennis Federation (ITF)), the WTA Premier tournaments (Premier Mandatory, Premier 5, and regular Premier), the WTA International tournaments, the Fed Cup (organized by the ITF), and the year-end championships (the WTA Finals and the WTA Elite Trophy). I hope i find some user to join this topic. In WTA tour is an incontestable leader yes...is  Serena WIlliams . Simona Halep nr. 2 WTA and Sharapova nr.3 WTA and the rest  try to detronate Serena W.

Simona Halep 2nd place in WTA was defeated on Thursday , 6-4 , 6-3,by Czech Denisa Allertova , 74th place in the WTA tournament in the quarterfinals of the WTA Guangzhou , after an hour and 13 minutes.I think Simona was in bad shape,Denisa played better,her game was more aggressive.It is indeed a big surprise for me,I did not expect this result.

Nice topic,women tennis deserves it.Women tennis is in not so good position at the moment like men,but it is better then 2 years ago.

I don't think  that the women tennis is neglected by any means. Just the opposite, in most of the tournaments the  paychecks are equal in both men's and women's competitions, so from that perspective everything is just fine.

I think that quality of tennis is not like before when you had Henin,Davenport,Williams Sisters,Sharapova...

Agree to that mate although Williams are still around ;) Serena playing her best tennis in the last year and a half maybe. But I'm agree that there is not  exiting young players or at least I don't see them.

They are still around,but they are not playing as good as they played earlier.There is no need for that,cause they dont have real rivals.

In women's tennis I guess the safest prediction would be "someone else" :)

Jelana Jankovic won another title this year. Congrats to her. I hope she'll be able to regain some of her confidence back, though... we'll see.

  Wuhan Open , China : Maria Sharapova, nr. 3 WTA, was forced to retire( left forearm injury)  in the third set to  Barbora  Strycova nr.  41 WTA .In the third round,  Strycova will play with CoCo Vandeweghe or Caroline Garcia.

Tough luck again for Sharapova after missing US Open due to injury. She was amongst the top players at 16-17 years of age and maybe now paying the price for that.

I am not her fan but it's weird not to see her on the court.

Well,it is normal to suffer some injuries ,especially in tennis,when season is all year long...

  Wuhan Open,China: Venus Williams beat Julia Goerges in Wuhan. Is not a simple victory is a special moment for Venus Williams : 700  match wins in his great  career.

Simona Halep qualified for the knockout round of the tournament in Wuhan after she won the game with Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova 6-2,6-1 after just 64 minutes.

I'm not Sharapova's fan either, but she's a good competitor. I hope she recovers soon.

Big Surprise at Wuhan Open !  Johanna Konta stuns Simona Halep . It was the most remarkable result on Wuhan. What happened with Simona ?

Simona after losing the first set played excellent match and led in the third set 5-1.

Then going inexplicable drop in the game and losing 6 games in a row = 5-7 for Konta

I cannot explain how that was possible,maibe something was wrong and she didn't felt well.

She was not showed of what was wrong healthy concerned.

She simply stood and Konta played as usual and all guessed, nothing special but that's enough to win

Konta will not be able to do much against Villiams, and I'm not sure how she managed to beat Halep at all Good for her.

Serena Williams, no.1 WTA  has had to call end of season 2015. Ho will win at Singapore ? Who s the next Queen ?

I think it would Halep could ultimately to win something big.If she not in a form that I think she have time to correct it to the final tournament.

I am sorry for Serena.It will be much less interesting without her,and of course,there will be many favourites now....

I'm not sorry at all for Serena, she's not exactly injured at the moment just more rest time for her I think, let the other have their chance too.

Patrick Mouratoglou, Serena Williams coach say s only retirement can stop Serena. When

motivation goes down it s possible to leave circuit ,maybe for  short time.

I suppose that Serena wont retire in next 2 years.She is real force in WTA,she knows that she can win a lot grand slams more...

Yes I completely forgot Muguruza.

She operates very much when it goes with forhand.She can get everyone, but I think it needs to calm down a bit because many attacks and it is not wise in women's tennis.

Muguruza is stll young.I think she is only 21,so she can still improve.I can see her at number 1 spot,one day,if she continues with development.

Simona is so good player but as she praises a little something for final and 1st position .Of course not too late to be first but I still think that in the coming years will be at the top playerssuch as Muguruza and Benčić

I agree. Good profile for Simona Halep. Sometimes look s like a little girl withaut confidence in your  own power. Like Halep, Eugenie Bouchard have more talent but ...something goes wrong .

Simona Halep withdrew from the tournament in Beijing.

In the second round is directly passed the Spanish tennis player Lara Arruabarrena-Vecino and will play against american Bethanie Mattek Sands .

NEWS !!!  Beijing,China : Simona Halep no. 2 WTA, was forced to retire(again) in her opening match because of a left ankle injury(Achilles).Simona  hopes to recover for the BNP Paribas WTA Finals Singapore . In this situation Who will win Beijing Open?

Sorry to hear about Simona retirement, hope that the injury is not so serious as it sounds. Anyway sometimes is better to miss a tournament before things getting worst.
