After a long time, without Roger and Rafa in second week in Paris.

  • Yes, really big news today. He had some issues in Rome too, unfortunately it has gotten worse.

  • David Goffin [bEL] vs  Nicolas Almagro [ESP] probably the best match that will be played today.

  • Another dominating win for Djokovic, Tsonga retired while Coric got heavily beaten by Bautista Agut.

  • Gasquet was great today, really great to watch player when he's in a "mood".

Special talent really, made Nishikori look average player in the first two sets.

And what about that Spanish guy, never saw him in play before this tournament and he just blew Raonic

    Good luck!

  • Really happy for Gasquet, he's one of my favorite players. His next match against Murray will show whether he really put it all together finally. If yes, than it will be a huge test for Murray. If you all remember the two already had amazing matches at Wimbledon 2008 and Roland Garros 2010. Both times Gasquet was two 2-0 up.

  • Raing again, too bad for Bautista, he was on fire in 1st set against Djokovic  :-X

  • No matches completed today either, this could become a very long tournament!

Funny, it's one of my favourites too ;)

Has maybe the greatest natural backhand out there, don't remember those matches but it's quite in style of Gasquet to loose the match from 2-0 up, especially against the top players. He's really great to watch when he's in a mood.

  • Hopefully we'll see some tennis today in Roland Garros, here are the scheduled matches and the odds at NetBet:

    Fourth round - started yesterday

David Ferrer [ESP] vs  Tomas Berdych [CZE] 0:0 (2-1 first set)

    1.66 - 2.20

David Goffin [bEL] vs  Ernests Gulbis [LAT] 0:0 (0-3 first set)

    1.54 - 2.50

Marcel Granollers [sPA] vs  Dominic Thiem [AUT] 1:1

    4.00 - 1.25

Novak Djokovic [sRB] vs  Roberto Bautista-Agut [ESP] 1:1 (4-1 third set)

    1.03 - 14.25

    Quarter-finals

Richard Gasquet [FRA] vs  Andy Murray [GBR]

    3.40 - 1.31

Albert Ramos-Vinolas [ESP] vs  Stan Wawrinka [sUI]

    7.25 - 1.09

    Good luck!

  • It looks like it will be good enough weather today in Paris - weather wise. It might rain a little bit, but hopefully it will be ok.

  • Murray hammered Gasquet after having dropped the first set while Wawrinka cruised past Ramos into the semi-finals. No surprises in the last fourth-round matches, but Djokovic had some hard work to do against Bautista Agut.

    RESULTS - WEDNESDAY, 1 JUNE 2016

    Singles - Quarter-finals

    Andy Murray (GBR)[2] d. Richard Gasquet (FRA)[9] 57 76 60 62

    Stan Wawrinka (SUI)[3] d.Albert Ramos-Vinolas (ESP) 62 61 76(7)

    Singles - Fourth Round

    Novak Djokovic (SRB)[1] d. Roberto Bautista Agut (ESP)[14] 36 64 61 75

    David Ferrer (ESP)[11] vs. Tomas Berdych (CZE)[7] 63 75 63

    David Goffin (BEL)[12] d. Ernests Gulbis (LAT) 46 62 62 63

    Dominic Thiem (AUT)[13] d. Marcel Granollers (ESP) 26 76(2) 61 64

  • Gasquet was equal to Murray for couple of sets but he just stopped  playing after that, so huge luck of confidence and it's a shame because the guy is great talent. Murray made maybe 30 short ball attempts first set which looked ridiculous but I think it was quite smart tactics from his side to tired out Gasquet.

  • Last two quarter-finals today, here are the odds at NetBet:

Novak Djokovic [sRB] vs  Tomas Berdych [CZE]

    1.06 - 10.25

Dominic Thiem [AUT] vs  David Goffin [bEL]

    1.52 - 2.50

    Good luck!

  • Djokovic really had to work hard against Bautista Agut. He had a lot of mental lapses throughout the match.

Gasquet was equal to Murray for couple of sets but he just stopped  playing after that, so huge luck of confidence and it's a shame because the guy is great talent. Murray made maybe 30 short ball attempts first set which looked ridiculous but I think it was quite smart tactics from his side to tired out Gasquet.

Yes, and Murray confirmed that right after the match. He tired, and succeeded, to tire him out.

  • Novak Djokovic is like an alien, in my opinion, he is unstoppable at the moment. Berdych doesn't have any chance today, I expect new title for Nole  :D

  • Djokovic will play Thiem in the semi-finals, great tournament so far for the young Austrian. He has nothing to lose against Nole, we might witness a great match.

    RESULTS - THURSDAY, 2 JUNE 2016

    Men's Singles - Quarter-final

    Novak Djokovic (SRB)[1] d. Tomas Berdych (CZE)[7] 63 75 63

    Dominic Thiem (AUT)[13] d. David Goffin (BEL)[12] 46 76(7) 64 61

  • It was a routine victory for Djokovic  today and I think a big plus for him in the next match will be the inexperience of Thiem on the later stages in the Grand Slam tournaments. Still the youngster playing very well so nothing can't be take for granted for Nole.

Murray - Wawrinka has to be a great one.

  • Semi-finals today, here are the odds at NetBet:

Stan Wawrinka [sUI] vs  Andy Murray [GBR]

    2.10 - 1.74

Novak Djokovic [sRB] vs  Dominic Thiem [AUT]

    1.08 - 8.50

    Good luck!

  • Yes, Djokovic was amazing, flawless for a set and a half, 63 30 then his level dropped a little but still Berdych doesn't have a game to beat Djokovic. And I'm sure that he will be extra careful with Thiem in the semis. That guy has my attention for some time now and has been playing a decent tennis at RG.

And Wawrinka - Murray should be a really good indeed. Though I'm not so sure actually. I didn't pay much attention to Wawrinka, but I've read and listen commentators saying he played great this year, but his opponents.... not so challenging at all, but he still managed to play a five-setter. In my opinion, this will be his first real test.

  • Djokovic breezed past Thiem, the young Austrian is not yet ready to beat someone like Nole. Andy Murray did well to defeat Wawrinka in four sets, we should have a cracking final but Djokovic is by far the favourite.

    RESULTS - FRIDAY, 3 JUNE 2016

    Men's Singles - Semi-finals

    Novak Djokovic (SRB)[1] d. Dominic Thiem (AUT)[13] 61 62 64

    Andy Murray (GBR)[2] d. Stan Wawrinka (SUI)[3] 64 62 46 62

  • It's time for winning title in Paris, Novak Djokovic now has great chances to win this one, he is much better than Andy Murray..

  • If Novak Djokovic can handle the pressure and keep the focus on the game, then Murray would have no chance.

  • Third straight final for Nole and I think it's about  time for him to win that missing title, but who knows I think many of us keep underestimating Murray who showing great form and beat convincingly Wawrinka, I'm not saying he will win the title but think it would be a close game...and who knows.

  • Yes, I think that the final is going to be very intense, and I have to say there is no clear favorite tomorrow. And just as I suspected, Wawrinka is nowhere near his last year's form, at moments it looked too easy for Murray.

  • The final is today, Djokovic's big chance to win his first title at Roland Garros. Here are the odds at NetBet:

Novak Djokovic [sRB] vs  Andy Murray [GBR]

    1.29 - 3.55

    Good luck!

  • GRAN SLAM Nole!!!

  • First tennis player after 46 years, with 4 different slams in one year !

The new king of tennis, Novak Djokovic !

  • Well done and thank you Novak. You can't put a price on hearing your country's national anthem on Roland Garros! :)

  • Not much to say, I guess I have ran out of superlatives for Nole. Great victory and a well-deserved trophy, now he can retire :)
