EURO 2016 Qulifications

This is unbelievable, Turkey vs The Netherlands 3:0.  I don't know what's the matter with the Oranje but they'll waste their chance to qualify to the EC2016.

I did not expect Netherlands to be THAT harmless and bad. There is Robben (who was deeply missed) and then there is a gap and then comes the rest of the team. Very blind at the moment, looks like they have no idea at all.

This is probably the first time to see Netherlands sturggling in the qualificiations.They and Germany always dominated in them...

0 points for Netherland from game against Iceland and Turkey is really big surprise...  Iceland on same group gain his first European championship in history....

They are blind because their coach is Blind too (I know it's a bad joke).

You're right. Robben is a world class player, he can decide a game on his own. The Dutch's squad is suffering from a lack of experience. 

The Problem from Netherland National team is their Star and Leader players are getting Old (Van Persie 32 years,Sneijder 31 years,Robben 31,Huntelaar 32 years) and injured too often.Their have absolutely no leader players except Van Persie (who is physically not fit) ,Robben and Snejder.

Italy has not lost a match at home since 1999. They won now 2 matches at home,against Malta and Bulgaria,both with 1 0 result.Classical Italian win :)

Portugal is in must win situation,but it definitely wont be easy task.For me,bet of the day is Romania - Greece 1,Greeks do have new coachmbut they are absolutely far from having good form...

Romania vs Greece draw.

Hungary will be without the services of Daniel Tozser (IM, QPR) and Roland Juhasz (CD, Videoton) whil Zoltan Gera (IM, Ferencvaros) is ready to play. The first match result was: Hungary - Northern Ireland 0:1. But to be honest, not NI won that match rather Hungary lost. After that match we immediately changed our coach and from that point we have only one loss, against Russia. Gera has an important role in the team, as he's the most experienced player in our squad. I think draw is the most likely result (65-70%) but I hope we can win in Belfast.

I'm surprised how bad Holland are. Their results are just incredibly poor and most likely they will miss the European Championship even though almost half of the continent will participate there.

Portugal is not in bad position,with draw in ALbania they will be almost sure for direct qualification to EURO 2016.

Respect that Iceland has made it to France, great guys. Impressed me some time ago with their Sub21 team.

I can't believe it. We conceded a goal in the 90+3' mins, against 10 men....  >:( Very shtty play with a poor result.  >:(

It is expected to see good matc at Wembley,where England is hosting Switzerland.Also,very important is match in Sweden.

I think that Sweden will manage to win tonight match and maybe Moldova will make a surprise beating Montenegro.

Germany last night again showed domination with beating Scotland away from home.I was surprised with draw of Romania and Greece,I expected Romanians to solve this with easiness.

I am also disappointed about my national team. I thought that they will win easily this match against Greece. I do not know what`s the problem with this team because they can not score for a while. Maybe next time they will be better.

My picks are:

England vs Switzerland, England to win

Moldova vs Montenegro, draw

Slovakia vs Ukraine, Ukraine to win or draw

Slovenia vs Estonia, Slovenia to win.

In my opinion Slovenia to win is the bet of the day. They have to win and they can do it easily.

England did not impressed ,but they still managed to win and that is only important thing.Great game of Austria,they slammed Sweden,1 4 at the end.

Spain dominated all teh match in SKopje,but they could not find more then one way to the net against weak side of FYR Macedonia...

Spain is not so diminant anymore and other teams know how to play defense against them so that is problem of Spain. They sould change their play if they think to do something big on EURO 2016.

that says much about English National development of the last 40 years or so. My dad still swoons over the Charlton brothers. I assume during their prime they didn't had to play stupid matches against countries like San Marino or Gibraltar to polish the goal scoring balance.

It is really strange thing when you see English natuonal team struggling.They have by far the best league in the world,they have so many professionals,but they still cant make anything worth of mentioning at big competitions.

Special will be interesting in Portugal and Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland has historical opportunity to qualify for big competition and i am sure that this will be great match and I expect that they win against poor Greece in this qualifications. I can't wait to see who will qualify for Euro 2016, I am sad because Serbia is not in possibility but never mind, I am still excited because I am a big fan of football. 

Romania is facing Finland in our road to France. If we do not win this match it will be hard. If we do not manage to win against small teams I think that we do not have what to do in France. If we struggle with these teams, what will happen when we face bigger teams?

Well,Finland is definitely not team you should be afraid of.They are not so bad,but they are not such a treat.

Also Greece was a team not to be afraid of...but we did not manage to score. It`s hard when your team play good but can not score. That is why I expect some changes next match.

Greece is playing worst football in last ten years.You must admit that this is an easiest group,but Greeks managed to be last team on the table,even behind Faroe Islands...

We had a lot of bad luck with Greece. Just to remember that we lost our qualification at WC in 2014 because of them. They are not so good but I don`t understand when we play against them we have like a fear and we don`t make important moves to win.

They are far from good,but they have experience of playing big matches,playing big competitions and (it still sounds impossible) even winning big competition.That is their biggest advantage compared with other teams that are not top quality.

A few days and EURO 2016 Qualifications matches starts again. In my opinion on 08.10, the most interesting matches will be Ireland - Germany and Romania - Finland.

Newspiridon, what do you think about Adrian Mutu? Anghel Iordanescu say s is possible to convocate Adrian Mutu (Pune City,India) again. No other player s in Romania? :(  Maybe Hagi...

I can`t say anything about Anghel Iordanescu chooses. It`s the coach and he does what he thinks it is better for team. If he thinks that Mutu can do something different than other players, then let him come and play. But I also think that we have a lot more good players that deserves to play at national team and they are not.

You have spirit of fair play  and diplomacy . Is good . In fact, it s Iordanescu choice .Next  match , Ramonia -Finlanda is capital. When Romania score again...? Hope in this match...

I didn't heard that name long ago, even didn't know that he's still active. In any case a very experienced player but the question is in what kind of form he is. The level in India is probably very low.

All in Albania believe in the victory against Serbia, but they should not underestimate Serbia. It is a chance for Serbian players to show something more than in the previous matches..
