EURO 2016 Qulifications

Two days separate us from EURO 2016 Qualifications. The first matches are on Thursday ( 03 September):

19:00 Azerbaijan-Croatia

21:45 Belgium-Bosnia & Herzegovina

21:45 Bulgaria-Norway

21:45 Cyprus-Wales

21:45 Czech Republic-Kazakhstan

21:45 Israel-Andorra

21:45 Italy-Malta

21:45 Netherlands-Iceland

21:45 Turkey-Latvia

I always hated when they stops for international brakes :)

Not that I'm Bulgarian but from the list above I think Bulgaria-Norway and Belgium- Bosnia are by far the most interesting games, or at least the most even ones.

These qualifications are very interesting.There are much surprises and it will be interesting to see which teams will eventually qualify.Netherlands-Iceland will be very interesting match.

For us from Serbia actually isnt  that interesting  :-&  Our national team have a very bad results, shove poor perfomances, get punishment from UEFA....  :(

Bulgaria - Norway should be an interesting match, but also I am waiting from Cyprus - Wales to be a spectacular match.

I have my favorites and that is Iceland, though i doubt they are going to do well.

I agree with Markotik.Iceland played very good so far in the qualification ,but it is really unreal to expect from him to make a surprise against Netherlands.

Maybe a draw between Netherlands - Iceland if you say that Iceland played good so far?

What's the matter with the Serbia national football team? I think from this region they have (alongside Coratia) the best players. I don't like Chelsea, but I really like Matic and Ivanovic. They have a good defense and midfield with a decent attack. I know this is the strongest group, and Serbia didn't want to be in the same group as Albania, but scoring only once is not a good result. To be honest I think Serbia didn't deserve the puniishment by UEFA, because Albanians provoked them.

Bigest problem is a very poor atmosphere around national team and Football Association of Serbia... Players have a good contact on major foreign clubs, but when comes to play for national team, just isnt on good shape... Problem in head, problem on bench, problem on dress-room.... Many incident with fans, punishment on two qualification round ( against Italy, and against Albania )....

We have a great U-19, and U-21 national squad,  win U-20 World Championship this year on New Zealand, but when this players come on first team, no results...

Netherlands-Iceland is a interesting Game,both are very strong teams.

My Guess : 2-1 for Netherlands

I agree with Yautjazz with the prediction of the match.I considere as the sure match to bet on over 2.5 goals.

I also think that match will be over 2.5 goals. I will bet 20euro over 2.5 on Netherlands-Iceland.

It is expected cause Netherlands is in bad position so they will have to attack from the first minute,to secure victory.

If Iceland manage to score one goal, then I am sure that will be over 2.5 this match. Despite Netherlands is in a bad position they will make a good match because they need the victory.

Cyprus - Wales could also be interesting match.It is definitely worth trying to bet on this match on Wales.

Yes agree, Bale shows good form on the start in Primera so I hope he will be so good for the national team too.

Cyprus - Wales I think will be over 2.5 and Netherlands - Iceland both teams will score.

Dutch are very lucky. Turkey conceded a goal in the added time and lost 2 points so the Netherlands are in the 3rd position. In my opinion they have the strongest tea, out of the current third placed teams so the extra qualification matches should not be a problem for them.

I think Hungary vs Romania is a fix draw. Romania have a good defense (allowed only one goal, the scorer was the Hungarian Balazs Dzsudzsak), while for us this is the match of the year. We have some good striker,  as the Serbian-born Nemanja Nikolic (currenty the top scorer of the Polish First Divison) and Krisztian Nemeth (plays for Kansas City). My prediction is 1:1.

I hope so, but same words we say before this qualifications... Wales, Austria, Republic of Ireland, Moldova and Georgia is our oponent in qualification group for Russia 2018....

I hope they won't be in the same group as Hungary. I remember to the U20 World Cup match between these two. That was a heartbreaking match for us. Losing against the world champion is not a bad thing, but losing with an own goal... :O

Best matches will be in Spain and in Russia.Spain was not so good in qualifications so far,this is the chance for them to make things little bit better.

I think Spain will win minimum 2 goals difference. Slovakia are not as strong as shown in the current standing. Bur Russia vs Zlatan is a really upredictable match in my opinion.

I think Wales have a good period but You shouldn't affraid of them. They usually win by only one goal so Miss Fortune help them. I don't know what's the matter with Bosnia because they played a very attractive football in the recent years but nowadays they are poor. Belgium are a strong team, but Wales managed a goalless draw against them and won the second match by 1:0. In my opinion that group is not too hard. And for You, it's better to play against Wales than Albania. You won't have minus points  :D. Austria is the only hard opponent, they have enough quality to qualify to the World Cup but I think Serbia should win this group.

Russia is very lucky. Sweden has a lot of good chances to score the equalizing goal.
