As i expected so many surprise today. Federer was near also, but Mayer is a big flop, he has so shaky hands, he cant make it. he must go through in two sets. Federers performance was very very poor. I dont remember when he made so many UE before. Lucky to have Bautista in the next round, and as well to have the majority of the top ranked players out of the competition. Djokovic will have an easy title again?  8)

Regarding the odds it was really an upset, but i watched both player whole week, and it was not a surprise at all. Federer had a nightmare against Leonardo Mayer, but after he survived 5 MPs, he shows his best tennis ever. Today was an epic game again from the best players on the tour.

Federer won his 81st ATP title, he defeated Simon with two tie-breaks in Shanghai. The Swiss will return to World No. 2 in the ATP Rankings on Monday.
