CLOSED - LCB Refer a Friend

Hi gals and guys,

we just installed a new module for friend referrals. Youll notice a new box, with your referral link ,when you go to your profile.

All you need to do is send that link to your friends and after they register your number of referrals will increase.

We plan to introduce some point system regarding these referrals and offer prizes to members with the most referrals.

We are still thinking of suitable prize system and the way to eliminate a potential abuse ( making multiple accounts etc ) , so please bear with us.

Good to here that. I think it's a great step to invite more people to LCD (Latest casino Bonuses) through this system. The referral point system is good way to increase the active participation of the LCB members in forum.

Wow, I was actually thinking of making the same proposition, a referral point system for registering new users. This is a great idea. Can't wait to see what rewards will you come up with. Now, on to getting the referrals

Hi and welcome Lootva.  The number of referrals used to be visible in profile but since an upgrade, they are no longer there.  Perhaps Zuga can shed some light as to whether this is still running,.

Maybe a public board so we can all see who has the most referrals?
Even some sort of monthly competition, or something similar?

Referral feature has been fixed and working now.

As far as the referral board we have something different in mind that will be incorporated with the LCB shop which we are currently developing.

Its something we are working on for few months now ( programing, designing, etc ).

The LCB shop will be free, meaning members will be able to claim different gifts, prizes in free chips, vouchers, LCB branded t shirts, mugs etc.

There will be a tiered point system which will allow you to gain/collect these points and then exchange them for gifts.

Members will earn these point in various ways e.g.by posting, making review and news comments, referring friends to LCB, rating casinos etc.

We will naturally enforce specific rules and guidelines in order to make things fair for everyone but also prevent the abuse.

That is all I can disclose for now, as we are couple of months away from launching it and there is still beta testing to be done.

that is a good question, and something we have been discussing internally.

Naturally it wouldn't be fair for all long standing members with many posts to start from the scratch.

And there lies the problem. How to make things fair and award them for the previous "efforts" .

Most likely, the way we gonna fix this "problem" , is that according to the post count members will be placed in point tiers.

Which will mean, the more posts they have the higher tier they gonna be placed at, which will allow them to collect the future points easier.

So in that way, and even if everyone starts from the zero, they will have an advantage for their past records.

However that is just one of the things we have been contemplating and it all really depends on the ability to put these ideas into practice. As you can imagine how complicated would be to program everything and also find the right formula.

At this point that is yet to be determined.

and that seems a good approach with the tier system, i am sure you will work the best solution out in the end, im glad im not the one programming it, i would probly scream lol, but im sure it will all work out in the end

We are in the last stage of development before we release the LCB Shop and the new points system.

It was very difficult to develop it and to assign the correct values for each point(s) made, hence why it took us this long.

We would of course continue to tweak it after its released and monitor for the good and bad sides and try to improve it.
This is why your feedback would be essential. Hopefully we will make it to be fair and equal for everyone.

We will also look into awarding some free points for the long standing members, but that would have to be done manually and probably per each member's request and dependant on their membership status ( ie current number of posts ).

Sometimes I have a feeling people are scared when they see a gambling related site and that's why they dont register, I already recommended 2 friends from many more that might sign up but it's their choice, they dont know what they are losing

Hello I want to ask you one question. When someone register from my referrer link , does he need to put my name manually at " Referred by Membername" section. Because 1 friend registered through my referral link but I still have 0 referrals.

no they dont need to enter the name. However they probably did something wrong during the registration .

Did they actually active their account?  And what is their user name, so I can have a look.

Hello Zuga, his account name is : stoyko13 and he said that he verified his account.

that account is under moderation atm.  Few irregularities were noticed in regards to their account.

Also they immediately started abusing our shop system ( rating/commenting )

this is one my friend, we worked at one place some time and then he move to other city. I didn't know that he can't use points for shop right after registration, sorry about that.

Everyone can use the shop and earn the chips as long as they do not abuse it.

However your friend  uses a proxy to hide their true IP address , and using the proxy is actually why the refer a friend was not triggered.
And using proxies is always highly suspicious behaviour.

That account is most likely to get suspended now, and as of now I have no choice but to place your account on monitoring too, until we make sure there is no further irregularities.

I guess no. Friend of mine used my refer link but forgot to type my nickname under 'referal' section while registring. Admin refunded me credits, but said he won't do it again. Point of all this is that it doesn't matter what link you send to your friend, he has to type you in as his referal. Hope I helped.

the link is in your profile, you have to look there and you will find it under referel link and it is very long like  http:\\www.jswqzs.com\......\......
This link has to be copied and send via e-mail or via whatever to the friend.

2)

What must the friend do?

a) copying the link, registering

b) typing your name f.e. jumboscampi, this name is the second important thing on the whole procedere otherwise nothing works and people are missing some 1$ if I am informed correctly

Refer a Friend promotion is not available in LCB site anymore I think, as you see you are writing in quite old topic  so I dont know where you could get free 1 dollar but I do know that you can invite your friends to join in LCB for example via email where you add LCB website address and just mention that if you like to join in best casino community your welcome, you not get paid but you get more friends with us!
