Thank you ladies! You are all so sweet! And blue, at my age I could tell you how old I am if I could just remember! LOL LOL One thing I can say about this birthday is that I am glad the casinos are not throwing real physical chips at me! I would be dinged up for sure! I am having trouble keeping up with collecting them all, let alone playing them! What generosity!

So, on to the puzzle... blue I now have NO HAIR left, but I think I got most of them right (and I did not have to play fast and loose with the spaces on this puzzle to do it!). So, here goes, laugh if you must, but tell me the right answers if I missed!

You got most of them right Katt but there are a couple not quite there.

1 Across is Littlewoods

3 Down was Call

5 Across is Quads (as in Quad Bikes)

11 Down is Yoga Poker

13 Across is Muck (from the saying where there's muck there's brass)

I like some of the alternative answers I came up with though... LOL LOL like cake poker! You ain't gonna get fit eating cake! And call wouldn't fit with wheel also known as a bicycle or bike!

Muck did not even occur to me as I am not familiar with the brass phrase (is that like donkeys at the seashore?) And Littlewoods is one of those non US places methinks! LOL LOL LOL

But, boy was this one fun and challenging! I again learned a lot and got some good laughs at myself! Keep it up! :-bd :-bd :-bd

It was hysterical when I was doing the puzzle yesterday... I got all but those that I got wrong filled in and then went out for a while... the whole time my mind is chewing on those clues... When I got back I was determined to fit something in those spaces and found myself laughing out loud at my computer and if anyone saw me they would think I had gone over the edge for sure!

I am so glad you are doing these puzzles and Suzanne too!

:z :z :z 8) Well blue, it's like this... I have 3 words across that I think are correct. But, I have 3 words down that don't fit with those 3 across and I think those are correct too... LOL LOL LOL Although I may have figured one out and now it is only 2 of my across words that don't fit with the down words... LOL

Ok, I am posting it to save my final fingernail which is only chewed down to the first knuckle!

The two words that are missing are #9 which I think should be SITANDGO and #11 which I think should be DRIVERSSEAT. As you can see they do not fit... so something must be wrong somewhere.

Ok Katt - firstly an apology because 4 down could be small stakes but in fact it is micro stakes, which makes 9 across correct for your sitandgo answer.

3 Across is not snapped - that should be "unlucky" - apologies for that one too.

11 Across is the infamous J4 aka broken wheel.

Everything else you got totally right. Congrats and thank you for doing it.
