Well,just a small brag.I entered a 60c tourney and out of 56 players took 4th for $7.90!! :)

Alright the both of you... you are forcing me to go out there and find something to brag about! Good job Rosebudlet! That is an impressive win in a field of 56 players! Final table is always worthy! And it is not the amount of money you win, but the fact you whooped some butt!

I do have one little thing related to poker to brag about! I have found I have some very special poker friends that are great people and best buddies with me here on LCB/LPB~!

I thought I did ok too considering it was a re-buy, add-on and I didn't do either.At break,I had just alittle over a 1000 chips and thought...nope not gonna add-on and I'm done!! I even surprised myself!! LOL

Markotik, don't be scared... wade in and give it a try. I was so nervous about it I took almost a year getting up the nerve. Then blue took me under her wing and I have not looked back! Just don't throw a lot of money at it while you are learning!

LOL I hear ya Rosebud.  Those freerolls can take hours, what with all the sitouts etc.  I played for virtually 4 hours to get $1.58.  That's just under 40c an hour LOL

You can do like I have done and satellite your way in. On Merge most skins give access to the "Free seats to Sunday big ticket" tournament if you have earned between 100-250 poker points during the week (PP's required seems to vary for each skin and may increase or decrease with the guaranteed prize pool for the Sunday tourny that is at least 100k) .

Bottom line, earn the required poker points during the week and get a ticket for Saturdays satellite where the top 100 players win a ticket to the Sunday tourny that has a buy in of $109.

Just be prepared to be humbled by the difference in skill level. I was fooled by the first table I sat at because all players had also satellited in. When I finally changed tables 40min into tourny. I was sat with people that bought in and I may have won a single hand before being knocked out.

Yeah I've seen those (and mentioned them in the freeroll thread I believe).

I can understand the vast difference between free ticket winners and buyin players.  It's more "real" when the cash comes out of your own pocket.
