    hi all,

     

    i have recieved an email from ladbrokes poker for a free tenner , i have never played poker for money before and i would appreciate any advice i can get on this be nice to cashout from it :)

    the rules say i have to gain 20 poker points before i can cash out so any help would be appreciated thx :)

    Very nice to get a free 10.  Congrats.

     

    You will earn points every time you buyin to a game. Example A tournament buyin of $5 +50c - its the 50c (the rake) that counts towards points.  I'm searching for details regarding "spend" to earn points.

    Finally managed to track down the points info....

     

    "Poker Player Points are given for all types of Poker Play on our real money tables whether it be Cash Tables, Sit n Go’s and Multi Table Tournaments.

     

    Cash tables

     

    You can earn 10 points for every $1 in cash rake you generate.

     

    Tournaments

     

    You will earn 10 poker points for every $1 you spend on tournament fees.

     

    What is rake?

     

    Ladbrokes Poker calculates rake by using the "weighted contributed rake" method. This method is 100% accurate as only active players are allotted rake contribution. Individual contributions are determined in direct proportion to the amount of money players have contributed to the pot. Please note there is no increase in the total rake taken per hand when compared to other rake methods. This is merely a more accurate method in how rake is allocated to individual players."
