Despite they are mostly low budget, those movies are example compared to what is filmed last years. I really enjoyed Romero's movies when i was a kid.

Army of Darkness is one of my all time favorite movies, not a true zomiesque movie, but it does have the undead so I guess I can see it on the list.  Plus, it has Bruce Campbell in it as Ash.  "This is my BOOMSTICK" 

I always remember one scene in particular (the name of the film escapes me) - the zombies had eaten all the cops and after they had finished them off, they got into one of the police cars and said in to the radio in a very zombie like way "Send more cops".  At this point, I just burst out laughing as it really did tickle my sense of humour.  It may have been night of the living dead or a similar film.

"Dawn of the Dead" and "Return of the Living Dead" (the remakes) is the movie that Blue is talking about, it's hilarious, my all time favorite zombie movies

I am a new fan of Walking Dead...LOVE that show!  There is just something morbidly funny...eerie...not sure, about Zombie flicks but I am drawn to them for some reason!

First moment i saw those zombies i thought by their looks it must be from return of the living dead serial than i saw uploader of the video says return of the living dead 5

I love Carpenter's Prince of Darkness, not completely a zombie movie but still there are some, and i love insane look of Alice Cooper there

I still think World War Z  is one of the best "serious"  zombie flicks in recent memory.  Although I do love the cheesy humorous ones.  Of course, "Zombieland"  with Woody Harrelson is also one of my favs.   Haven't seen the sequel but it's on my list......guess I have time to watch it now....LOL.

Haven't you seen the movie American Zombie? I've always found it interestingly good and funny :)

Looks like I'll be doing a lot of binge watching on Netflix!!  definitely have the time for it  now!!

Fast running zombies vs. Slow ones

Fast ones are scary as hell. Dawn of the dead from 2004 was a fine example. Then theres 28 days and 28 weeks later that work too. There are others perhaps but have not seen those. The thought of being there attacked by these is chilling.

Slow zombies aka. Classic zombies are moderately scary, they were that when i was a kid. But not these days though.

Progress and evolution of the genre is a good thing. Next evolutionary leap will be flying zombies or teleporting zombies? Haa haa!! 

The Maze Runner: The Scorch Runner was a very good movie. I figured I would go back and watch Maze Runner I. What a mistake. Maze Runner I is a total zombie movie. I don't watch zombie movies.

I am really eager to see the walking dead starting again ... Even if the series dropped in entertaining ... I still love to watch it ... Movies are just 1 or 2 hours ... Series have much longer fun :)

Also waiting for Black Summer season 2 ... Darn Covid-19 pandemic

The only zombie movie that I liked was Train yo Busan, a korean movie.

I can also recommend Land of the Dead and a french zombie movie called

"The Horde" it is very entertaining and Gory  and not Forget another classic zombie movie "Return of the Living Dead"  !
