@Eric Oberg You had a feeling and you right. Online poker sites, all of them, are not completly random just like slots and casinos. The rng is set to give pre-determined set of cards that goal is to create fake action. Trap hands that make sure 2+ players will go all-in with. The purpose isn't to favor a player and cheat the other, it's made to create action and make players bet more (cash games) or eliminate players (tournaments) so that players register more tournaments/pay more rake to the casino. It's as simple as that. It is a known fact, but not openly admitted. It's easy to figure out top online players know that since if you go to high roller tables you will see players try their best to avoid a showdown. It's crazy how you can sit and have hands over and over and barely ever see who as what. This doesn't happen as much live. It also sets hands with miracle turn/river so that donks that bet on whatever would regularly get rewarded for their stupidity and win... beating a true good player in the process. If the cards were truly random fishes would quit fast and only the top pros would be left with no money to make.
So it's all made so that players bet more/register more tournaments so that sites make more money. The rng gives regular fake action hands and crazy turn/river to make more money and try and keep the donks in the game to make them play more and spend more. It's all about the money. Same with slots and casinos. Once you get that, the magic is gone. No more hope, dream, wish that the miracle happens... because it will happen or not only if the computer decides to. Forget casinos and sites and providers, remove them and picture yourself the core system/algorythm they are all linked to. It's the thing that controls everything. The casinos and providers just provide the service and how to display it. If you ask them, sue them, complain you will never get anywhere since it's not them directly.. it's the system they are all linked to. A system that no one ever talks about, that you can't google. Something kept in secret in the dark so that no one knows not even the people working for the industry. A secret known only by a few engineers/techs that designed it and the people that ordered it. They most likely were all tasked to build/program a specific thing but not all together so no one really know what it's all about. It's how you keep such a huge secret. That way people that made it don't know exactly what it's all about because they only did one piece while the casinos, providers and the population in general is constantly brainwashed about things being random. Obviously it's not many people that are strong in maths/stats/logic/reasoning as for me it jumped in my face pretty quick. Things were just not making sense.
People don't realize sometimes the true odds of getting the result they got. They think well 1 on 100, 1 on 1000, oh such bad luck... while in fact the odds of losing that way in that spot were 1 in millions, billions sometimes trillions. If you take every single event individually it's easy to just claim it was just bad luck.. can happen yeah. But if you put all the pieces of the puzzle together and realize that the odds of the events happening all together in order like they did is millions x billions x trillions... i mean at what point someone starts wondering something is wrong? I have a nice example of the players delusion. I was explaining this to a player and he said "well even if in billions, still possible!" then few minutes later i ask him if he plays roulette " what? are you crazy? hitting your number is impossible!". So ok 1 chance on billions+ is totally possible but 1 chance on 37-38 is impossible. People either are not smart enough to understand, work for the industry or are in state of denial as they invested so much time, money and everything they had chasing the dream... being told/accepting it doesn't exist... that he did all that for nothing and been fooled for so long is just plain too hard to take so they, willingly or not, deny. Even in front of undeniable proof they will deny. In psychology school we learn about different state where people are in complete denial but they are not even aware of it. It's their brain that refuses to process the information meaning that even if you explain, send them to therapy, do whatever... it won't work.
Casinos, providers and the industry in general are in a complete lockdown. We can't verify their system, everything is hidden. Companies/comissions tasked to investigate and verify them are created/operated by the industry themselves so forget about them to call any problems. I kept saying what i say, also asking them to demonstrate to us how it works. Let us have an independant audit... never happen and never will. The whole system is built as a huge labyrinth of laws and countries and companies that make sueing almost impossible. If you had on top the money the industry has to defend itself and the contacts in politics you can understand that a player rip dead at home has no power whatsoever to do anything and they know it... it's the whole purpose. Scammers don't scam people that are strong enough to fight back. They attack vulnerable people. People that have money or power don't see the problems, don't get in extreme situations as if they did they wouldn't have money or power. That means the only people that can go deep enough to get where they figure there is a problem, they can't afford to do anything.
Personally, i look at tobacco industry decades ago running the health researches to give reports that says smoking is good for health... i look at volkswagen millions of cars computers cheated.. and all the other industries... it's just like that. People up there are complete crap holes and they don't care about anyone or anything and are willing to do anything to keep going so thinking these would, on their own, decide to be honest is just as impossible as beating the odds online. What's the point of doing anything if it's a generalized cancer. All we can do is stop playing. Stop buying their products.. to buy/play something else, from another industry.. just as fraudulent as the previous ones. Life is fun in this world.
