    I've never even signed up to amazon.com, just amazon.co.uk but they have put all my details on amazon.com, Strange that they linked them but they're customer service are saying they aren't linked sad

    Not sure what can be done about it seeing as there is $50 sitting in my amazon.com account. I don't want to take advantage. I suppose I could use my $50 dollar voucher to buy another $50 gift voucher and send it back to you?

  • Amazon are pretty useless. They basically said they can do nothing. The only thing they did is get someone to tell me what items can be shipped to UK, which is pretty much all the items. Just a shame the postage is more than the item.

    Not that I wish to argue, but my flag has always shown the Great British flag to my knowledge.

    Not to be rude but I'm not seeing any 'thank you' from you.  Both blue and Zuga (those primary color folks) both said they would look into it.  Zuga even said not to worry, you would be refunded the $50 if necessary.

    So, you don't lose your 'free' money and you get the 'free' money back if there is confusion with Amazon.

    Aside from the obvious ( actually being present in the USA laugh_out_loud ) , using different proxies can lead to this. Cloudflare can also be the reason..

    I think I did say thanks to Blueday via personal messages to be honest, but I will say thank you in here as well too. I try to generally use the thanks buttons to say thanks rather than written, to save making comments that clog up any part of the system.

    I think I kind of sorted it myself but they were patient, Blue was especially helpful. Amazon were able to send the voucher back to the sender. Something that they never mentioned before. So it was sent back in $ and was paid to me again in £.

    It is very strange that others have seen the American Flag, as I have honestly seen the Union Jack all the time. If it had been stars and strips then I would have changed it. No offense Americans.

    Again though I thank Blue, Zuga and the site for issuing credits/incentives. It is a pleasure.

    I'm pretty sure claiming that Amazon Voucher generally runs smoothly. Just my country being listed as the US for some reason (though not to me) probably caused the issue. You can always point out in the comment section when redeeming a voucher which country you are in. Something I never did either.

    Good idea to mention your country when redeeming the Amazon voucher - I will add it to the "Please read BEFORE claiming shop credits" thread.

    I'm just glad it was all sorted.  I was the "middle man" - relaying messages etc.

  • Nice one for that Cranders! Wow, LCB is a much bigger operation than I had imagined! Seems many of the team are located in Serbia with the remainder pretty much scattered across the globe. Can't wait to see what else LCB has in store for us in the future, Zuga has mentioned some big upgrades are on the way smiley

    Please note these take longer than 48 hours in most cases, as a 3rd party is involved in the credit process although they haven't been too bad recently.

    However, please note, this weekend the rep is away so requests will take longer.  He usually sends them regardless of when I send them to him (including weekends) but because he is away, it will take longer for him to send them through for checking/crediting.

  • Not sure if this is the right place LCB, but heres a question I have not seen asked as yet... is it permitted to request a chip for somebody other than myself? Specifically, if I wanted to grab a bonus chip for my mum and supplied her account number at the checkout stage, would that be permitted?
