Leonardo DiCaprio -Best Actor - Share Your All-Time Favs

Okay so last night Leo won the Academy Award for Best Actor. He was nominated quite a few times but this was finally his year! I was so stressed out waiting to see if he'd get it and he did. The Danish Girl and Mad Max Fury Road had me nervous.



In case you're wondering, yes, I love Leo and he's hot tickets in my book! I have never been more excited for someone to win an Oscar. Share your favorite award winners of all time.

My favorite acteur is Nicolas Cage.

Nicolas Cage has done some great movies. Looks like his Oscar was won in 1995. I liked him in Wicker Man, Knowing and The National Treasure.

                My all time fav:  Dennis Hopper,    Christopher Walken,  Nicholas Cage is always great.  I've always liked Leonardo DiCaprio. 

benedict cumberbatch is a recent favorite. then there is bruce willis, arnold schwarzenegger, mel gibson. oldschool actors mainly.

Any Robert De Niro fans? I think he's fantastic! His new movie Dirty Grandpa was really raunchy and I've heard a lot of people say that they didn't like to see him in that type of role. I personally thought it was hysterical but it's definitely not his usual type of movie. I don't see any Oscars in his future for this film

I think that DiCaprio is a well deserved winner. I also think that he already should have won, but at least he finally did it.

And I also think that Robert De Niro is a fantastic actor, though I have to say that my favorite is  Joaquin Phoenix. I saw him in Gladiator for the first time, and I thought he was amazing.

Leo deserved the prize. His role in the movie was amazing. He made a nice speech as well. In my opinion he was the most suitable actor for the movie. No one could have been better than him.

It's nice to see that Dicaprio finally received this first oscar, but i think he deserved the oscar 15 years ago or something like that , because i saw the movie and can say that, Leonardo acting in Revenant wasn't so special to get oscar, there is many movies with him that deserves more than nomination.

My favourites are Anthony Hopkins, Jim Carrey and Johnny Depp. I also respect DiCaprio, older film  of his Gilbert Grape was also fine. 

Oh yes, Anthony Hopkins is fantastic! I was recently watching Legends of the Fall and I can't help but associate him with The Silence of the Lambs and Hannibal. So classic.

Leonardo is a fantastic actor and it is a shame that he didn't win Oscars long time ago since he had so many awesome movies. Russell Crowe is one my favorites since i watched the Gladiator (my favorite movie), but there are so many that i enjoy watching like Tom Hanks, Christian Bale, Brad Pitt, Denzel Washington...

Those are all great actors. I think Ben Affleck is another good one. Pearl Harbor, Boiler Room, Gone Girl etc.

Leonardo DiCaprio has made so many good movies. He is an accomplished actor and I believe that no one else can do what he does very well. His Oscar was deserved and I do not know why it got so late

Very well deserved. Better late than never eh! 

I don't know if it's my favourite, but as a good actor, Matthew Mcconaughey left a good impression on me. I think he was great in Wolf of Wall street, also in True detective tv show, as in many other movies.

Leonardo is great actor and I can't name just one favourite film with him. I really liked Shutter Island, Django Unchained and The Wolf of Wall Street. 

I'm so glad he finally won Oscar, he deserved it a long time ago

Catch me if you can is a cool movie but reading from the book is more fun I think. Jackie Chan is quite my favourite actor, his action movie really cool.

I like Marlon Brando very much!

Dicaprio is the great actor. I like the films The Great Gatsby and The Aviator.

I am a Mel Gibson Fan. He was great in the movie Maverick.

I'm a Brad Pitt fan, especially the old Brad Pitt movies like the 1994 movie Legends of the Fall! 

I have always admired the talent of Joaquin Phoenix. What a great actor he is, how convincing he is as the vicious Emperor Commodus in Gladiator and as Arthur Fleck in Joker! Glad he won an Oscar after several nominations, I don't think any other actor could have played those roles...

One of my favorite roles of Al Pacino is Leutenant Frank Slade in Scent of a Woman (1999). His portrayal of a hard and rugged military man who was struggling to deal with being so vulnerable after losing his eyesight was truly incredible. Especially the famous monologue near the end of the movie. Although he had many Oscar worthy performances before and after that movie, he was rightfully awarded an Oscar for his role of Frank Slade

It is high time that Leonardo Dicaprio became an Academy Winner! All of his performances are, without a doubt, phenomenal! Although I really think he should have won before in his films The Wolf of Wall Street, I am just happy he got the recognition he deserves.

he did a great job. and what i realy like about him is which scripts and roles he chooses...he doesn't just play the simple roles with which you can earn the most money...no matter how well-known he is, he always chooses uncomfortable, weird roles in more or less "independent" productions like " don't worry he won't get far on foot"
