Hello! I am for legalization but making marijuana ilegal is the question that needs to be adressed globaly. Governments has no interest yet to make it legal over the glob and it upsets me a lot. No one ever died because of using marijuana, but people keep dying because of drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes and its still legal. Does it make any sense ? Of course not but this is also subject we could talk about for hours. Now I know where to include all these article links I see on internet. We must educate that's the only answer.

I'm also for legalizing marijuana. It doesn't lead to any addiction and is definitely less harmful than alcohol and cigarretes. What is more, it's an effective medicine. I don't understand why government is against.
I guess we will never find out. Most likely its because it actually cure disases and it can help. On the other hand we have pharmacy industry that I prefer to stay away from it. There is a lots of money into this story and govrnemnts have no interest to legalize it.

I don't really believe it can cure diseases, but it's an effective painkiller or at least helps to releive pain. I don't think that the government benefits from not legalizing marijuana. There are a lot of people who buy it illegally, and it seems to me they will not stop doing it. At least the govermnemt could put taxes on the weed and get additional money. Strange policy.

I think it should be legalized. The relief people get from it is incredible. It helps with the nausea associated with chemotherapy, is still very effective for glaucoma, the list goes on and on. Now, I don't think people should drive while under the influence but I think it will eventually become legal in all 50states, just a matter of time IMO.

Do you think that marijuana is a drug?

As for me I think that marijuana is certainly a drug, but slight drug. To some extent alcohol is also a drug. The common effect from the use of these psychoactive substances is an altered condition of consciousness. It all depends on the number and frequency of use of a given substance. If you use a little and sometimes it's one thing, and if it's often and a lot then of course it can lead to irreversible consequences for the brain and the psyche in a whole..
And about the legalization of marijuana ... it seems to me that this is not a very important issue. Despite the prohibitions there was always a black market of marijuana or something else forbidden. The one who needs it will find ways to buy it. And it will not be stopped by any prohibitions.

I think the Spice Shop experience is an overwhelming argument for the fact that this country is not ready to legalize marijuana. Anyway, at the proselytizing allure you put on, you smoked yourself 3-4 times, and now you're calling pro-legalizing. That it does not have any negative effects ... That's what I thought and I was saying at 16-17 years. Until I had the opportunity to meet people, as in those advertisements in the "before" and "after" versions (after they gave up). Differences are major, and in lucidity, in liveliness, and in physical appearance, there are other people.
I do not say that a straw, from time to time, is not a heavenly manna, but from here until it has no negative effect, being constantly consumed, it is a luvau and uneasy way. PS I m from Romania -

short&simple, im against pot, i believe it truly is a gateway drug to worse drugs and i know it from personal experience. BUT i am for legalization of it, i believe it currently is in wrong hands with organized crime and other types selling it. legalization would make it more difficult for them to access youth and others in danger.

The fact is that even if marijuana is banned, it will still be grown, cooked and sold. It's business. And those who smoked, will continue to smoke it. Human psychology is so arranged that the stronger the ban, the more it wants to break it.
Another thing is to allow the sale and smoking in specially designated places, where entry to underages is prohibited. -

Common sense limits like no using while operating machinery/driving is all it truly needs. I'm tired of the Reefer Madness mindset that the Baby Boomers seem to have embraced all their lives. Its so much more sensible to legalize and tax it (all recreational drugs for that matter) as it completely wipes out the black market.

I'm a medical doctor. And to be honest, it's better to drink vodka or wiski than to smoke marijuana. If you are dieing, then smoking it will make it easier for you to leave. A affordable drugs needed, if you have big population and you want diminished it.Yes in this case is the perfect solution . Drugs are one way road. If you sell all drugs everywhere, the devil knows what will happen. But pharmacists will get a jackpot definitely, they will become a network of drug-dealing officials. Of course, they will happy). Adults may be not affected by drugs, but young and very young will be in dangerouse. This is a difficult question about Marijuana. Marijuana is not a heavy drug. But for your mental health better go and get drunk than smoking marijuana!)
It's my opinion.
There are kinds of drugs from which you get addicted if you try one time."Forbidden is more interesting!" this is not the case! Excuse me for my seriousness.

Yes, the liver is not iron, but the liver has the ability of Phoenix to the rebirth. But the brain doesn't have that ability!

live in cali, and we have dispensaries ike liquar stores, every block there is a dispensasry, I love it!, I smoke pot for over 25 years, back in my days "chronic" was the term for grade A bud. Now we have all these growers who grow awesome plants, we are so lucky to have this in cali, everywhere you go, the smell of marijuna is in the air, I think marajuana helps a lot with medical reasons, for ex, I know people who are sick and cant eat, marijuana opens up the stomach, which we call the munchies, so you see people gaining weight , and eating when they couldnt, also I know "cbd" helps with children and animals with issues, but the dark side, I see a lot wax "dabbing" and thats what concerns me. Everytime I dab It feels like the 1st time smoking some strong shiettt, like I cant drive etc. (and smokers are really getting hooked on wax) that looks bad on the legal side you know. but 1100% i know marajuana has more ++++ then ----, and all that TAX MONEY it helps USA ++++++

i thinck marijuana smoking by entretaining changes the mind perpective like wine and others drugs stufs, and therefore should be used carefully. So i think that the use of it should be limited , clarified ,but not illegal .The use in excess could lead to psicologics problems and bad beheavers.

I am against legalization. If you start allow small things, if you allowed to use marijuana , there is a valid reasons then for every dangerous things. But after, If everything is resolved, will humanity not come to an end)))))? . The state receives sales taxes, this is not the reason in favor of legalization!

Look here , i quit smoking that mess a long time ago when i started something a lot healthier, crystal meth. (I play poker for weeks!) Seriously though, it could become the beginnings of a basic universal income from the taxes, and i don't care what you do in your house, especially if i get a tax break. More meth and all..When it comes down to it, whatever it is you dont like *(rather it be gays, guns, or drugs ) people still are gonna do it.

I think it is overall a good thing. People should not be prosecuted much less imprisoned for casual recreational use. I also think a good thing is that it has medicinal value and should be readily available to those who can benefit from it. One bad thing is that it can adversely affect the mental health of people who are psychologically vulnerable or predisposed to mental illness. This is of course a small percentage of the population, but I wish there could be ways of minimizing this type of potential harm under legalization.
