A new heart for my sister, hers is only working at 30%.  But, there are so many requirements to be put on the donor list.  The worst thing about her needing a new heart is the cost.  If a person doesn’t have real good insurance and deep pockets he or she won’t get a referral to a donor center to be placed on a list.  Well, maybe Santa can bring her a new heart, because it just wouldn’t be Christmas without my little Sis!

My favorite part of Christmas is watching the faces of my family when they open their gifts.  That first facial expression is absolutely priceless; then add to that those yeas, ughs, or complete silence.  I can’t think of anything that could be any better.

1. The most desirable gift to me for Christmas would be to have my home back that went into forclosure and I lost  it  in 2010  and then the courts took my parents apartment away from me for
lack of rights of succession which is the two places my family gathered for many years. I now have
no permanent home so my family cannot come to me I lost the apt just this June and cant afford the
legal fees. I just want  a home of my own or apartment where I can bring my four kids and going on
9 grandchildren. So my family could be together again at Christmas time.

1.  What's your most desirable Christmas present... A job. Lost my job because I made my family a priority by taking time to be there when it mattered most. Officiated my daughter's wedding, and helped out three other  (single mother) daughters when they gave birth. Also gave support to my father and family when my mother passed away. All of this in a month, but former employer would not approve leave. Family trumps work, even though there are no monetary winnings.

I already have my most desirable Christmas present.  My son (my only child) is a senior at the #1 high school in the state of Kansas. He is a full time IB student, he's ranked #5 in his class and this past November he received an award from the University of Kansas as one of their Kansas Honor Scholars (I'm soooo proud of him)! My son taking his education seriously is the best gift in the whole word.

My most desirable Christmas present will come in June (hopefully) .  My daughter is getting married and asked my sister's husband to walk her down the aisle.  Wiping tears from his eyes, he said it would be an honor.  Their family has gone through hell and back.  My sister has  been battling breast cancer for over five years and her husband has not been in great health either.  So my wish is that they make it back home for the wedding.

My favorite part of Christmas is Christmas lights.  When we were kids, my dad would pile all six of us kids in the car and we would go throughout town looking at Christmas lights.  Mom would stay home and put the presents under the tree and when we returned, she would always say that we had just missed Santa.  Every year, we missed Santa.  We must have been the most unluckiest kids on earth.  (haha)
