BlindLuck, I watched your video and have a question.
Did you:
A) Make single respin for over the max bet allowed.
B) Respin the same reel a bunch of times that in total added up to to more than the maximum.
The whole "Here's a bonus, but if you make a single bet over 5 bucks and end up winning, we'll just take it all, and if you do it and lose, we won't bother telling you that you broke the rules so you won't know for next time" is obviously super scummy and predatory. But, there's a big difference between A and B.
If you did B, I think you have a very strong case. A, not so much.
These terms originated from casinos legitimately protecting themselves from being exploited by players that would bet their entire balance on a single bet - if they won, they'd easily clear the bonus. Now adays, casinos just see it as another opportunity to confiscate money from players, just like having max cashouts, confiscating winnings is a part of their buisness model.
If they were really worried about you betting more than $5, or whatever, the software wouldn't let you make the bet. Period. But that's not what they're worried about.
It's a shame the owners of these forums won't put their foot down.
