  • Light is a good answer, orren and thank you.

This is one of the most interesting riddles...and shamefully, I couldn't wait much longer so I cheated(Googled it) embarrassed (had to give my old rusty brain a break. grin)
I don't want to kill the fun so I won't post the answer. wink

  • I've got no clue why this idea just popped in my head, but i'm going to have to go with......

    Light....

"By George I think he's got it!"  I think you could be right there orren.

I have to say that the answer definitely is a brilliant but I still like orren's answer,LIGHT! wink

    THIS WEEK'S QUESTION

I am a three digit number.

My second digit is four times more than my third digit.

My first digit is seven less than my second digit.

    What number am I?

Email your answer at [email protected] by 30th March 2011.

  • I am the beginning of the end, and the end of time and space.

I am essential to creation, and I surround every place.

Interesting riddle! The answer to this is the letter 'E'.

    Here is why...

beginning of The End...the word 'end' 'begins' with the letter 'E'.

end of time and space...the words 'Time' and 'Space' 'end' with the letter 'E'

Essential to Creation...without 'E' the word creation becomes 'creation' which has no meaning.

Surround Every place...look at the letter at the start of every and at the end of Place.
'E' again! It surrounds the phrase 'every place'.  cheesy
  • Thanks Nan - I won't spoil it by giving the answer.

That's what I was thinking... also thought if you don't go as fast as a race car when you're in it you would end up all squished on the inside of the back window...
  • My guess is when I am in the passenger seat and Kat is all squeezed in the back seat while blue is driving it. grin

  • LAST WEEK'S ANSWER:

  • Same answer as I got Kattboots.  I was beginning to think I was barking up the wrong tree at one point - thought it could be a trick question.

    blue

I thought it might be a trick too for a while... but I still gotta think this is the right answer...
  • Yahooooo!
You all got it right. It's number 15!

Okay here is one more for ya all to spin the brain grin

What were ladies asked not to wear at Prince Edward's UK wedding? shocked

    Was it too easy? tongue

  • Hmmm that is not easy for me. I am going to take a wild guess and say hats?
  • Yes I would have guessed the same.  Alternatively, it could be "black" - no clothing that is black.

    Thanks Nan.

    blue

  • Interesting,blue...although I did not find anything regarding not wearing black but I guess it could be a common sense. grin

According to the source, Prince Edward and Sophie Rhys-Jones explicitly asked guests not to wear hats to their wedding in 1999, Middleton and Prince William have simply asked people to stay away from feathers, flowers and tacky decorations.......boy, isn't this complicated or what? tongue so the answer is hats. wink

  • Okay the last one must have been too easy for you guys so here is one that might not be!

What 10-year old began earning his bad reputation by throwing puppies off the Kremlin walls in 1540?

  • Ivan The Terrible, also known as Ivan Groznyi

  • Thanks Johnny.  I didn't have a clue.

  • Thanks Johnny.  I didn't have a clue.
