  • In my opinion when gambling tablets are more "convenient" than cellphones. I mostly use PC and occasionally iPad to play poker laid back and cozy on my couch cheesy

    Zuga

    Hi All,

    I agree with Zuga smiley

Gaming tablets are more convenient than cellphones.

In regards to the mobile gaming industry as a whole, my opinion is that it is growing and will keep on growing for years to come.
Technology is in our lives to stay and it keeps progressing(HTML5) and offering easier and reliable devises to enjoy.

Game providers have caught on to this but is still in its infancy. I think that eventually all games will also be developed for gaming on the go.

ps. As long as there are players using these devices. Or else it is not financially liable for providers and operators.

    Kind Regards
    Constantine
  • I prefer gambling on a desktop computer with two screens. But sometimes with good weather I go out to the back yard and play poker on my Ipad, some times when I'm stuck in traffic I play poker on my smart phone.

When I play on the Ipad or smartphone I am not concentrated enough to play a good game, but still its better than bored and stuck in traffic.

  • It's sounds like it depends on where you are at the moment emperor. I'm the same way. I like the size of the games on my laptop but an iPad is more comfortable to relax with and the phone comes in handy when you're and about and get stuck waiting around.

  • Yeah depends where I am, played poker when I was on vacation at the pool. Cold drinks great view and a good upswing smiley.

  • Playing casino through Wireless applications like WAP, GPRS, and OTA is amazing these days. I enjoyed playing Casino using my Smart Phone and won a jackpot!!! The thrilling Mobile gambling service provided me specially designed compact editions of matchup statistics, trends, injuries, or odds through a machine other than computer. smiley smiley

  • For those who prefer to play for fun (or at least want to try something a bit different), here's a nice Slot game (Android devices only):
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.onyxbits.pocketbandit

  • I use only my iphone for gambling. Tablets are not for me...

  • Not really but I had one big win over my phone. I played  2x10 lines (20cents) on The Codfather. After like less than 20 spins I got the highest symbol + wild so it was 200€ or something. Too bad it wasn't during the free spin feature. I would have had 400€ from 20cents bet.

  • Android 10" Tablet wink
Very useful to spin on the bed or everywhere in the house or outside.

  • With the booming online gambling industry more and more people are getting attracted towards gambling. One more advancement in the gambling industry is the use of mobile devies which gives you the advantage of playing online games even during traveling. Using mobile gambling just for fun is good, but for real money it requires some trusted mobiles site which can give the surety of safety. So before choosing mobiles devies for online gambling it is necessary to look for the trust factor of the site which you are going to play with.

  • I think that tablets are made for Slots smiley

You're absolutely right jennifers.  Stick to the casinos that you know and trust.

Agreed.  My iphone is too small for slots play

It would be nice to see a few more votes.

  • I only use my laptop computer when I play  smiley

  • I believe it is only a matter of time before all casinos open up to mobile devices, and adapt their interface to match the smaller screen. That way, you don't even have to be at home, sitting in front of your computer. Then again, it is not really something to do with making it easier for you to play, but making it easier for you to spend money smiley

  • I intend to replace my Android smartphone with Nokia one powered by Windows mobile 8 operating system. I suppose when that happen, I will use mobile device to gamble even less than I do it now, since most of casino applications are written mainly for iOS and Android.

  • i tried mobile gaming with some free spins on redbet, (netent) and some free money, (jackpot city) (mg) and sloto cash (rtg)

to be honnest, didnt like of anyone
tried the 3 different softwares (1 time each) and i did not like it, so i will continue using only the "traditional"  (pc) method

    2.4/ 5

  • Its PC for me...haven't really tried gambling through mobile devices and tablets.....Thanks for the share...!!

  • PC only

  • There is an app called Puffin that I discovered. $0.99 for 6 months and you can play an and all flash games from your droid or iOS phone. Enjoy!

  • I like to play slots on tablet. The problem is that not all slot games are available for android. For now best choice is PC/laptop.

  • Currently I play online games only on my laptop as I don't have a tablet and my mobile phone is an older model.

  •                 I had a nice Galaxy 3  but dropped the damn thing in the garage and the screen went black.  Couldn't play now if I wanted to.  Was highly pissed,  so now  I have to use my wife's tiny LG that looks like it's about half the size, I loved that larger screen on the galaxy  but it might be awhile.  I'm worried, what about the phone company?  do they know if you use it for that?

  • PC only. Would use mobile phone, but my phone is also a bit older and i can't play on it. Hate that sometimes when i get emails that i have free spins, they are on mobile device, and i can't play them.. frown

  • i definately prefer the pc and would play on that 99 percent of the time, i only really use the mobile casino when im offered free spins on it and dont really enjoy it much.

  • Lately I've been checking those free spins offers for mobile phones and as xbornluckyx said, I just don't enjoy it much. I just think that screens are too small cheesy I once tried slots on a tablet and I liked it. I might switch to tablets one day. smiley

  • I think that large screen smartphone and tablets are the next thing, and it is just a matter of time before software providers shift to mobile platforms...

  • I prefer my laptop to play in the casino.I only use my tablet to play free spins when I get the on mobile site.
I have seen here that some people said that they received free spins on mobile and haven't been able to play them.
When I didn't had a phone/tablet compatible I used this site www.browserstack.com .You need to create an account and you can make a virtual phone there and use the free spins that you receive.

  • Playing only from my PC, because i did not have any device from which i can play casinos smiley
    simple answer, unfortunately sad

  • No,I can not play on the small screens.I prefer my pc.

  • I use my PC only as I have no iOS/Android mobile. If there is a promo that can be used just on mobile device I use chrome user agent switcher extension to make a virtual phone, similar way to play3r211's one  wink

  • I usually play on my PC, but I so sometimes use my tablet.  I hate how  you dont get as many game options with some casinos. I played Jackpot Capital on my tablet recently and every 5 seconds it would time out.
I can remember when mobile casinos just started. I had my; first smart phone. I used to play at Slotland on my phone all the time. It was one of the first that you could play mobile. All games included. Loved it.

  • I have a smartphone with the latest version of Android on it, but I just find it a bit annoying playing casino games on it. I've tried maybe 4 different casinos using the mobile version on my phone and I'd rather just stick to using the PC for now. A tablet might be better and I intend to get one eventually. I also use mobile data on my phone rather than wifi and the sites run a bit slow.

  • Well, I'm an old man. laugh_out_loud Do not perceive these tablets  grin and use the well-known desktop PCs or laptop. With phones only a few times out of curiosity ... worn_out

  • Not very often, I sometimes use my tablet, just to experiment really, and i rarely use my phone. I can never see the point really if i have my laptop there and ready to use, im not overly keep on the whole touchscreen thing

  • Do not use mobile often to play, but I really like the graphics are smooth but if I did that often, I think it would be too dependent on the game smiley cheesy

  • my pc is broken so i have no choice at the moment lol... smiley at least i can gamble in bed... smiley

  • From the moment that I posted here I played more on my tablet.I have the impresion that netent games for ex only pay when you bet the smalest with 0.01 on the line and if you raie the bet you get burned.Does somebody else have this impresion?Or is just in my head?

  •                         I only play on my PC because of the 19 inch monitor.    I have a Galaxy SIII  with a pretty decent screen but I dropped it in the garage about 8 months ago.  @#$%  Gotta get that thing fixed.

  • Pretty high percentage btw for mobile players on this poll actually.. shocked I do play sometimes with my iPhone while on a bus or train.

thats actually because you can vote for both options wink
  • I find it absolutely fascinating and amazing that we now have the ability to play a wide range of our favourite games on these mobile devices - I can understand why doing do is growing in popularity at an enormous pace. Nevertheless, I have to say that my personal experience of many mobile casinos has been less than satisfactory so far.

The number of different platforms and devices available creates a complex situation for developers, I applaud them for their efforts in making their software run well on all these different devices - as a software developer myself, I can imagine it is very tiresome.

I honestly do feel strongly though that the current mobile games offered by NetEnt ,as a specific example,. are all of a certain, low variance category... each week I get free spins at Stan James on a Friday to use on a NetEnt mobile game, yet despite having tried all of the games available, I cannot help feeling that they all pay out very badly compared to their desktop counterparts. Anybody have experience of the opposite?

I'm really not sure because I haven't played that often at mobile casinos so that I could compare. I would say that there is no difference actually, but again, that's only my impression so I might be wrong.
  • Normally my PC, and sometimes my smartphone. For me, that depends upon my mood. But yes, it is mostly my computer.

  • PC mainly

  • IPAD

  • I use mobile on the go and when good bnuses available for mobile casino only, but prefer PC gaming thaat is more convenient for me.

  • going to get the new iphone 6 , should come in handy with PokerStars app.

  • I use my PC about 60% of the time, tablet 30%, and laptop 10%.  grin grin grin

Did you use a stopwatch to count it?  laugh_out_loud  wink
  • Pretty funny Sommi.  laugh_out_loud laugh_out_loud laugh_out_loud I work out of my home/office so my PC is what I use most the time for gambling. I travel quite a bit for work so this is where my tablet comes into play.  tongue tongue tongue tongue I use to use my laptop quite a bit for gambling until one day I was at a lunch meeting with my boss and his laptop crashed. Needless to say we had to share mine. I was horrified when he saw all these casino icons on my laptop. After that I swear whenever I see him he kind of gives me this strange look, you know the look 8'| 8'| 8'| worn_out worn_out So I took almost everything off my laptop and put it on my tablet.  tongue tongue tongue tongue
