    I tried buying bitcoins thru coinbase but they do not accept a prepaid credit card, How can i get some bitcoins without using my debit card online cause i just won't do it that is why i have a prepaid for years. I do have paypal , can i buy them with money from paypal anywhere?  thanks for any help. :)

    Hey Shirls, they (Coinbase) do accept prepaid cards sweetie. We use my PayPal Prepaid MasterCard for every bitcoin purchase at Coinbase.   They can get a little pricey with the 'fees' to buy bitcoin and to send your bitcoin after your purchase.

    That is weird coinbase said they don't accept prepaid and it even got my account locked at netspend , i had to call them to get it unlocked , had to verify it was me making that purchase but got declined. Is there any other way to buy bitcoins ??

    For prepaid you could go onto Local Bit Coins and do a person to person transfer with Netspend.  If you had a serve or a Chime card I would offered to trade you some coins.  Yet I had my Netspend shut down after using it too much overseas.

    Otherwise you can always withdrawal the money, wait til Monday and make a cash deposit for your coins as well.  That always works.

    Personally I avoid Coinbase after having my account shut down.  Granted now there only saying I have to reverify who I am.  Then I can come back, but honestly after I've already verified myself once.  I really don't feel like doing it again.

    I had the same problem. So I was able to use my PayPal card and bank account and bank visa.  Coinbase is very strict. If you don't have a PayPal account it's very easy to get one. Just go to the site and register.
