Hi all!

I am a big Game of Thrones fan so my favorite rain themed song is "Rains of Castamere".
This song tells us about the rebellion of the House of Reynes against the House of Lannisters.
The title is thus a play on words, as the "rains" fall over the empty halls of the "Reynes" who have been killed to the last man, and "not a soul to hear".

My favorite song about "rain" is Fat Joe featuring Lil Wayne - Make It Rain !
It has my favorite rap artist, Lil Wayne, and another favorite Fat Joe. The song isn't actually about the natural phenomenon of raining, more like...

Grabbing a stack of bills and making it rain "Got a handful of stacks / Better grab an umbrella". In the official video it does appear to be in fact raining a bit, but from the lyrics of the song and from the dancing girls it seems that the "hoes" ) prefer the rain with dollar bills.

well me friends the last month in me street a powerful storm destroyed part of the street where I live, I think a picture is worth a thousand words, capture the video so you can see the destructive power of a storm, I fear it happening again and destroy the place where I live

This is a great contest...love reading all the songs and remembering which ones I love too.  I have to agree with Stevie Nicks and Garth Brooks, both super songs.

Mini Review - Triple Twister from RTG.  I love this game (when it gets going).  It has lots of paylines which is great and when the twister appears in the middle real its wild.  In the bonus round the twisters can move to any of the reels which is great.  I have had pretty good luck with this slot so that might be why I like it.  I have re-triggered the free spins 5 times and ended up with over $500.00 on a .50 cent bet so the twisters were good to me.

My favorite storm song about rain or storms would be Carrie Underwood and Blown Away.  I love the lyrics (even though its dark) and it being about a tornado makes it better.  I enjoy the rain and storms and used to sit on my Grandpas porch and watch the storms come across our town in Colorado.  Sometimes we would drive out to the plains to watch the bigger storms come across and build up into big thunderstorms.  There have been a few times getting the chance to watch tornados form and the beauty and awe I have of those.  My daughter and I started doing this after my Grandpa passed and I would take her to watch the rain, or sit outside at night and watch the beauty of lightning with the calming sound of the rain.  It must have really struck something with her because I just finished my trip to Kansas registering her for college at Fort Hays in Kansas to get her degree in Metereology and she wants to be a tornado chaser or atmospheric scientist. I can't be more proud of her and will always enjoy the rain thinking of my babygirl!

I forgot to add my experience with a storm and love I was walking in the rain in the month of April 10 years ago.  In my home town it started to thunder and lightning I ran and slip in a puddle I heard someone laughing from behind me.  It was my future love, but at that moment not.  I was so embarrassed but got up like nothing. Even though I live in California, I grew up in Washington State. We joke and say people in Seattle don't tan they rust.  But every time it rains in California, I always seem to bake or cook some comfort food,since I'm reminded of home.  The guys I work with have learned to expect some kind of goodies on Monday, if it rained over the weekend.

Living on a 100-acre farm in Washington, one of my memorable moments was getting a call in the middle of the night from our neighbors down the hill. It was raining, with thunder and lightening and high force winds and our cows got out and ended up in the neighbors yard.  My brothers and I had to get up jump on the horses and round up the cattle.  Once home, we had to walk the fence line and determine where the broke out.  Then we made repairs before heading home.I remember a flash of lightening hit one of the numerous trees near us and the top of the evergreen came crashing down so close to me, I could feel the wind it created. I stood still as can be and saw my young life flash before my eyes.

No one was injured, but after that night, our parents decided we could leave the fence mending till the morning.

Like i said before, i have a lot of experience with a rain. But i will never forget how i look month ago, when after huge storm, weather suddenly has changed and a such big snow falls down, that after couple of minutes i look like a snowman. People in the bus stop starse me like i was an allien. Funny thing, that within few minutes, snow stops falling and the sun came up. Yeah.. i love weather in my country...

Im going to review this song, but its a HORRIBLE SONG. Well, I wont say horrible, but it was popular back in the 80s, and probably pretty popular at male strip clubs.  Guess its kinda funny.

I remember being around 5 years old when we had a horrible summer thunder storm.  The power was out for days. The first night of the power outage, all the neighbors and neighborhood kids were outside playing and talking, when we saw around 8 hot air saloons in the sky. Kind of crazy during thunder storm.  Apparently one had crashed not too far from my house. My mom had a rule that we were not to go any farther than the corner of our street, but me and a friend or mine wanted to see what was going on so we went to where the balloon crashed, about 6 blocks away. When my mom finally found us, we were grounded for a week. (We were outside playing that night )

Stupid story, but the only memory I have about rain.
