Back Yggdrasil Launches Publishing Division For B2B Partners

Swedish iGaming behemoth, Yggdrasil, is set to star at this year’s ICE London between February 4th to 6th with the launch of Publishing arm that “offers customers the keys to its kingdom.”

This division, deemed game-changing in developer’s official press release, will contain tools for building and creating B2B gaming business space.

A New B2B Opportunity

As a part of their entirely new strategic approach…

Yggdrasil will franchise their entire business, form their portfolio of games and gamification tools to advanced platform technology and Game Adaption Tools & Interface products.

All of these will make it possible for business-to-business partners to create their end-to-end iGaming offerings that are supported by Yggdrasil Publishing.

Tools, Tech and Knowledge

The developer’s entire gaming ecosystem, its elements and accompanying technology can be licensed to future customers. Part of the package are also their functions and content that was successful at international markets in recent years.

There will be three core value propositions for the Publishing arm:

  • YG Franchise (platform IP licensing)
  • YG Masters (game development and distribution program)
  • YG Game IP (game IP licensing)

Head of Publishing at Yggdrasil Bjorn Krantz explains:

“We are really excited to showcase our new Publishing business which will give operators, studios and suppliers all the tools, tech and knowledge to take control of their content production and distribution and create unique player experiences.

This is a ground-breaking global licensing business that significantly changes our and the industry’s approach to content creation, publishing and distribution. In a very short space of time we have become well-known for our highly innovative online gaming content, platform and software solutions but we are now taking this to another level altogether.”

Krantz joined the supplier in January to head the new business and he will be meeting potential and new customer at stand N3-140 during the ICE event.

Isle of Man License

In early January, Yggdrasil announced the successful obtaining of B2B software license by Isle of Man Supervision Commission.

CEO, Elmqvist, said that the company was highly regulated and highly compliant in every major jurisdiction ever since the business began.

He added that the company takes great pride in adhering to regulatory best practice and place great emphasis on compliance and responsible gaming.
