The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has introduced something new to the gambling community. As of August 1st, the UKGC will go live with a new online support tool, which its calling, Resolver. The tool will serve as a major advantage to consumers, as the tool makes it possible to conveniently make gambling-related complaints.
To make matters better, the tool, which will be released in August, is free to use. In addition to being a means of communication with operators, it will also provide consumers with details regarding the topics they wish to complain about, and lend support in successfully creating letters or emails. Each complaint will be stored in a case file, for easy access.
For those who are wondering how exactly this will work, let us clear up any questions you may have. For starters, the tool does not work as an intermediary. In other words, it will not act on the behalf of the consumer, and instead, simply supplements the entire process, making it easier and more convenient to create disputes and reach effective solutions.
There is also some concern for operators, who have expressed a fear that there will be an increase in complaints because customers will be given access to a tool that allows them to expose criticisms. However, the UKGC maintains that this will not be the case, and that, 25% of consumers don’t move forward with disputes once their rights have been laid out in clear print, which is exactly what this new tool will do.
Overall, the launch of Resolver appears to be a positive move for both customers and operators. While individuals can better understand their rights, operators will learn what improvements need to be made.

Personally I believe online gambling isn't going in the right direction at the speed they were expecting, so they are releasing crap like this to make the customer feel more important. Great idea initially but seriously this isn't going to increase revenue. If anything ever needs to be said the contact/support pages are...

This tool is an excellent idea! It will surely help to deal with complaints more efficiently. The gamblers will be able to get the information about their consumer rights and forward their complaints in a structured way. @zenekk87 - Absolutely agree with you, this industry definitely needs more of these types of tools.
