The consultation portion of the UK Gambling Commission’s plan for secondary licensing and taxation related to point-of-consumption in online gambling has begun.
In 2014 online gambling operators seeking entry into to the UK market will be required to obtain secondary licensing and pay taxes to the UK government.

Plenty of applications are anticipated. The new application process and information requirements are expected to go into effect in early 2014.
