One of the favorite internet payment options in the world, especially among the members of the iGaming community, Skrill, has formally announced a new extension to the platform - Ripple. The company is integrating the second largest cryptocurrency in the market based on the requests from the holders.
Message Live Via Social Media
The payment system made the announcement official on social media on November 27th with the following message:
“We’re very excited to announce XRP has been added to the list of cryptocurrencies you can buy and sell with Skrill. Thank you to everyone who has asked about Ripple. It’s Here!”
Furthermore, the e-commerce business also confirmed that trading in other cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, and Litecoin is also available; the addition of XRP makes it the fifth major listed virtual asset on the platform.
CEO at the company, Lorenzo Pellegrino, as well as Neteller (e-money transfer service) expressed their opinion on the current state of cryptocurrencies and trading in the world by saying:
“The world of cryptocurrency trading is exciting and dynamic. And hence our digital wallet service very much lends itself to this environment. I’m confident that the ability to trade in cryptocurrencies quickly and easily through Skrill will appeal to consumers both now and in the future.
We know many people want to experiment with cryptocurrency trading but don’t know where to start and we’ve made the entire process very straightforward.”
Making Digital Payments Simpler
Launched in 2001, Skrill has been improving digital payments in multiple ways, making them more secure, quicker and simpler. Apart from Paypal and other major portals for online payments, it is acknowledged as one of the most popular solutions for people’s business and pleasure.
Not only does it develop global payment programs and software for businesses worldwide, simultaneously building a global customer base and drive growth, the platform meets the needs of online gamers too. Most of the UK-based casinos include this option for both deposits and withdrawals, making Skrill a truly global company.
Its parent organization is Paysafe Group, and its headquarters is located in London, United Kingdom. From betting to trading, to shopping and managing money online, this service primarily focuses on low-cost international money transfers. Take a look at the video below to learn more:
