One of the leading online casino platform providers SkillOnNet announces strategic alignment with Neccton, the data science specialist. The aim of the partnership is to introduce an innovative machine learning Safer Gambling tool to help punters avoid gambling-related harms.
By detecting and minimizing the potential harm, this tool will contribute to creating a much safer environment. Following the agreement, a wide range of brands operating under the SON’s umbrella will implement this solution.
Andy Andrew, Head of Compliance at SkillOnNet, commented on the collaboration:
“We are thrilled to have joined forces with Neccton, bringing its state-of-the-art machine learning Safer Gambling tool to our in-house online casino brands and those of our white-label partners.”
Taking Advantage of Innovative Technologies
The helpful tool will be rolled out across an extensive range of provider’s business associates, encompassing brands such as PlayOJO, AHTI Games, Royal Bet, SlotsMagic and many more.
Andrew commented:
“Safer Gambling is one of the most important aspects of operating an online casino markets and although already very advanced in this area using in-house tools, we are proud to be among the first to adopt and launch innovative technologies.”
As a small reminder…
…in August last year, ComeOn also joined forces with Neccton, to develop this useful solution, using artificial intelligence technology to ensure maximum functionality and efficiency.
Meet the Mentor!
Called Mentor, the tool designed by Neccton in collaboration with behavioral scientists and psychologists, tracks player data, detects risk patterns, changes in behavior and flags signs of problem gambling.
If a punter is considered at risk…
… he/she is given personal feedback and tailored communications to prevent harm. This personalized communication is based on “motivational interviewing,” a counseling approach developed by clinical psychologists William R Miller and Stephen Rollnick. The technique works with nudges to achieve modifications in one’s behavior.
Dr. Micahel Auer, Director at Neccton, said:
“Academic research is at the core of our work. Over the last ten years, we have published more studies than anybody else in the area of player tracking and responsible gaming. We have shown what works and what does not work and are constantly improving our solution based on academic evidence and best practice.”
New Partnerships Keep Coming
The beginning of the current year was more than fruitful for the company, as they sealed multiple strategic agreements. January brought alignment with Quickspin, cooperation with ORYX Gaming, as well as an alliance with the new kid in the block- LuckyVegas.
February brought a duet of partnerships…
… one with Wazdan and the other with Slingo.com. The later was labeled as deal which “marks the start of a new chapter for Slingo.com.”

Hats off to putting efforts to protect the players. I think this is an example all gambling companies should follow.
