Real Dealer Expands Cinematic Series with Rapid Card Chase

Real Dealer Studios, a renowned partner of Games Global and producer of cinematic table games, is taking players on a trip down memory lane with the release of Rapid Card Chase, the latest addition to its Card Chase franchise.

This high-energy hi-lo game is designed to evoke the golden age of video games with a strong 1980s arcade influence.

Hi-Lo in the Style of 1980s

Rapid Card Chase marks the second installment in the studio's relatively new series of hi-lo games. If you remember, it follows the July debut of Vinnie Jones Card Chase, a gameshow-style production hosted by the famously charismatic football-player-turned-actor, Vinnie Jones.

Building on the success of its predecessor, this new title by Real Dealer Studios retains the same appealing game mechanics, most notably the inclusion of a guaranteed random multiplier that can go up to an impressive 200x and appears every 15th round.

However, the edition from October 2023 also focuses on delivering a faster-paced gaming experience and places a stronger emphasis on its rich aesthetic.

Players will find themselves once again immersed in a world of pink neon lights and old-school, 16-bit graphics, paying homage to the beloved classics of the past. According to the studio, the game's design pulsates with 80s beats and features flashy, sci-fi surroundings to complete the nostalgic experience.

Interestingly, Rapid Card Chase's deliberate use of low-grade graphical elements is set against a visual environment that's far more realistic compared to current industry standards.

This unique look was achieved through an innovative process known as Cinematic RNG, created by Real Dealer Studios. It closely mirrors the production techniques used in Hollywood filmmaking.

The process starts with cut-scenes using next-generation effects commonly seen in blockbuster films. The polished footage is then seamlessly integrated into a random number generator-based game framework. The result is a significant leap forward in terms of quality and realism within the realm of RNG games.

Shane Cotter, chief product officer at Real Dealer Studios, expressed his excitement about the game, saying, “Any addition to our Card Chase hi-lo series would be a strong contender based on its mechanics alone, particularly those multiplier rounds that are proving to be such a hit.”

As explained by Cotter, the studio settled on an 80s arcade concept and told its design and video team to just run with it. However, what they came up with was visually stunning and hugely entertaining, making the studio warmed up for further development.
